  1. I ran completed cartridges through a GRX before, and then one got stuck. A live round stuck in the die. I ended up detonating it into the ground with a hammer tied to string, a nail, and the die clamped to a piece of plywood as I was hiding behind a forklift. Was kinda scary, till it detonated and then was very anticlimactic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I used to use the Bayou 180 TCG, thousands of thousands. Switched to blue bullets simply for the price. Loaded to 1.180”. Use a Dillon size die, MBF powder funnel, Redding completion seater die, Lee FCD. This setup just works. Never case gauge at all, ever. The ammo is perfect. I would fly across the country for nationals and not even think twice whether my ammo will work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yup. Load manually in station 4. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ascend armory 50 degree safety works with the Eclipse trigger. You don’t have to install both paddles. They’re about 30$. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I use 23.5 Cfe223 for a light 55 gr hoser. 23 gr 8208xbr for 77TMKs. I found a bit better accuracy out of hornady 73 elds, and they’re cheaper. 8208, varget, and shooters world precision powder were pretty much the same in accuracy, in my gun. 8208 and precision meter well from Dillon measures. 6. LAG tactical has some nice pouches. Picked up 2 of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yes it is. Don’t think so, but it’s been awhile, just made soft sweeping bends. It’s easy to bend, and the brass had enough velocity to travel through nicely. I suppose if the single stage was farther away it might not work as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The fastest way is to not use it. I thought I needed it years ago, but I didn’t, even with police fired Glock brass. Anyway, I made this thing, and instead of the bottle, route more copper tubing down into a container on the floor. It was fast, I would out run the casefeeder, even with the entire copper tubing full of brass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I broke 2 sights, never really did like the SV sight. After the second one, I bought a Dawson. It was huge, had to file it down a lot to fit the dovetail. It might have been for the non sighttracker guns, Idk. I love Dawson sights but don’t want to have to take off .030” by hand Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Full size vac, plumbed with ABS pipe. I found the brass shavings clogged up the corrugated vacuum hose. This is also used to covert 300blk brass, so may be overkill for just trimming 5.56. Clears shavings from the toolhead nicely though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 12,000 through mine. Worked fine. The RF100 doesn’t like them as much as CCI, in my experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. If you’re just running one bullet type. Once it’s set, it works forever. I’ve never had to adjust it, thousands and thousands. That being said, my usual .40 bullet is 180 gr. I’ve tried to dial it in using 140gr for a minor load. I can’t get it to work, it jams up spectacularly and/or flipped bullets. It’s kind of an odd bullet though, being short and fat.. 13. Yup. Expensive. But worth it. I had some small issues with the dropper running 55gr 223. I had a lot of dropper problems running Hi tek Coated .308 bullets for 300blk subs. 9 and 40 fed great from the start. It’s very reliable, especially once you understand how it all works. 14. Apparently it’s good for a few washes as well. I’m gonna test that theory this weekend. I need to run 3 maybe 4 tumblers full. Gonna use the same solution and see what happens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. https://www.thereloadingstation.com/products/brass-juice-case-wash Their brass juice case lubricant is also great. I like it better than one shot for pistol, for rifle I think I’ll still stick with lanolin based lube. I just leave the brass outside for days to dry, then stick it in 5 gallon buckets. I’ve got plenty, so it kinda gets rotated. It’s probably months before it gets loaded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Brass juice is amazing. I don’t know what it is, but it makes the shiniest brass Ive ever seen. Pins are dumb. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I just bought one, the new HD version. Doesn’t feel very hydraulically dampening to me. Just feels like a spring. I was jusT curious if anyone has seen the insides. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Has anyone ever taken the snap ring out of the buffer to see what’s inside? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Run it! It’ll be fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’ve got an eclipse and it doubled on me off a front bag when zero’ing as well, twice. QC10 receivers, bolt and barrel. Pretty sure it wasn’t bump fire. Hasn’t happened when shouldered in 3000 rounds, sooo... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. A nice little tip I’ve found during dry fire is if you stick something in the ejection port to hold the bolt back an inch and a half or so, the safety still works and the trigger works. I use my plugg’r chamber flag inserted longways. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I just mounted the feeders to the wall. I would estimate the bench is 2-250lbs. It’s fantastic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I got that too, when all the parts were new. But I think it has dissipated since running a couple thousand rounds through. Just got a new bolt carrier and the smell has returned. Never got that with my rifle caliber ARs. I thought it was rather odd. Not too concerned about it though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
