Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. It wasn’t stated but its implied. He just told me that those piled broken grips were the batch of first generations sv made. The newer ones were alright. one solution is weld and the other is to buy a new one.
  2. I did talked to him and showed it. No warranties. They have a pile of broken sv grips down their shop. They informed sv about this but nothing came out of it.
  3. Should have stick to polymers. 7 years no problem except for the mag release hole.
  4. On an sti frame. It is installed by a competent gunsmith Jay Pecson, employed by SVI official distrubutor in the Philippines.
  5. Its just disappointing with that we pay for a very expensive product and it doesn’t give us the satisfactions and performance we should get. I have a high regards for SV parts until this happened.
  6. I noticed a cracks on my sv grip shown on the picture below, e-mailed SVI but says they only apply warranty for only a year. I am so sad and disappointed with a high priced product to turned like this. I am an occasional shooter so it is used occasionally. Also it is installed in an open 9mm major to which recoil is not that hard. Anyone experienced this?
  7. my customized open sti accepts both sti and new svi magazines, the gunsmith has to shave some metal from the frame to accommodate svi magazines and we have to try 12 svi magazines for us to find 3 that falls free. as we have measured it from a caliper, it has different thickness. must be the reason why 9 out of 12 wont dropped free.
