I was wondering if anyone has tried to work up any loads with this powder yet.

Berry's recommends those to be seated at 1.060". I started running them longer at 1.065" and my accuracy improved a little. The only powder I use is TG. How much crimp are you applying?

I understand what you're saying and leaving the human element out of it. It could be anything that will effect bullet shape ie.. case didn't bell properly and caused a shaved edge, air or contamination in the bullet casting, deformed ogive, everything that rotates will vibrate, you just change when and how much. Given the rpm of a bullet leaving the barrel it's amazing they don't disintegrate.

For what its worth the 550 can easily do 3000 rounds per month. I purchased a primer system for large and small primers I feel it helps save time. It appears you have the perfect setup right now.

I love the gun but had some issues. I looked like a drunk trying to use a door key during mag changes. Was working with some Bill drills and just couldn't get the mags started. Which mag well do you recommend? I would like one with a MSH but not necessary. Concealed carry is not an issue. The S&A type look nice but something with more lead in. Thanks in advance.

We have a Sportsman's Warehouse in Vancouver WA, they wanted $840 plus $40.00 to bring it in from another store. A store in Oregon had it for $729 no shipping to WA FFL. That's the best I could find here.

ZZT, thanks for the info. I'll make changes as I become accustomed to the gun. That front sight has to go. After I zero it I'll get the right height. Unfortunately will have to wait until tue's as I bought it in Orygun.

So I finished my side work and got paid so I bought the RO, I paid $729.00 NIB. Thanks for the replies and help given. I'll pick up some Willson 47d mags and a FO front sight and just shoot it. I am looking for a Leather holster though only thing I own now is for a rail gun. Been loading up a lot of 200gr lswc with BE. Think I'll start with that.

This might be a silly question, have you had any problems with CMC mags? I have 7 of them and have had issues with my other gun they've been used in. I'm convinced it was the firearm and not the mags. Also did the S&A magwell fit as nice as it looks?

No it was just the overall size, its just too much. I was looking at the Kensight it appears smaller and radius ed. For what I'm paying for the gun some changes aren't that big of a deal.

Has anyone changed out the rear sight on their RO. When I held the gun up it looks like I'm peeking through the crack of a barn door.

I'm picking up my SA RO next week. I have a so so holster for a 1911, as well as mag holders probably not enough. I looked for right side mag releases, which one do you use? The one from Mitchel custom looks nice, expensive but if it works I only have to buy it once. Has anyone used the C&S ambi release?
