  1. Has anybody out there used a commander timer with an Amazon fire tablet? I am just checking to see if there are any issues. It would just be for practice so I don't really want to spend the money on an iPad.

Hammer at the end of the tube.  The bend of the wing(part that slides into the base pad) has a very rounded bend.  I use a brass hammer to hammer it and create more a sharp 90* bend.  This will shorten the tube.  I have done 25+ this way to fit the gauge.

Did this today. Some took a little more beating than others but I've gotten them all to fit now. Thanks for the help

I have old and new TTI base pads on all my mags.  None fit the gauge without flattening the wings on the tubes.  They all fit.  No grinding on the feed lips or pads.

    How do you flatten them?

It’s almost certainly the mags. Sig doesn’t care about a few thousands of tolerance. The mags are also made by a couple different manufacturers.

Yea I would almost guarantee it’s the mags

On the 21 round factory mag, four or five strokes with a file on the back edge of the base pad and they all easily fit the guage. Took me about five minutes to do six mags.

It's going to take quite a bit more on the mags with the TTI base pads. I mean they are not even close to fitting. I would have to shave half of the base pad off to get them to fit. But the Henning +2 fit with room to spare.

  6. So I've recently moved to the legion platform and have noticed that the magazine and/or base pad sizes are off.

I bought 3 Henning base pads for the 17 round legion mags. I am getting 23 in them with factory springs but they barely fit the mag gauge. I have to give them a good squeeze to get them in there. I also bought 4 - 21 round sig mags. 2 of them have Henning base pads which fit the gauge easily. The other 2 - 21 rounders have tti base pads and they aren't even close to fitting the gauge. I've spent a fortune on mags and base pads and I hate that I now have a couple $70+ mags that can only be used in practice. Anybody have issues like this?

  7. Can somebody lead me to a place to get some x5 legion recoil springs? I found them on springer precision but they want $7.50 to ship them, just seeing if anybody else has other options. Thanks

21 rounders with Taran plus 2, two of them get me 23 re loadable and one gets 24. The tubes I have with the base fit the gauge at the last two area matches I attended.

I'm not seeing a Taran +2, I only see a +1 listed on their website?

Henning extensions and grams guts are what I’m using 23+1 and they work great, and a large selection of colors if that matters to you.

Are you using the 21 or 17 round mags? I read somewhere that the 21 round mags with an extension have to be filed to fit the gauge

  10. I have recently purchased a legion and was just wondering if somebody could give me a quick lesson on mags. What is the best option for a CO legal mag? Thanks in advance

  11. Looking to get a Sig for Carry Optics. Seems to me that most are shooting the legion. I held an axg pro and it feels pretty good and weighs quite a bit more than my Glock. Other than the weight, is there any reason not to get the axg?

  12. I would go MOS. I got my first slide milled for a Burris FF3 and now I'm stuck with that dot forever. I do think that the milling is much better for reliability of the optic staying on. But, It now sits in the safe and I use it as a backup gun. If you were going to go with something like an RMR i think the milling would be good as those will probably have the same footprint for the foreseeable future. I use the forward controls plate with the DPP. I have had it come loose a couple times on the MOS.
