Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I shot my x95 last weekend and had a great time. I didn't shoot 100% on the classifier like Bill did. However, I did shoot the highest percentage ever for me on a classifier. My bullpup is setup as described by NervousEnergy. No problems with the gun running. I started with a dirty gun, added mobil one before the match. I'm shooting 147 grain at approx 135PF. Same load I use in the G34 for production or VP9 for CO. I'm going to look into CFEPistol and coated bullets, that combination may work better in a 17" barrel. Running factory magazines and the 20/32 round mags from ASC.
  2. Don't vacuum spilled gunpowder. Static charges and brushes in the motor can ignite it. Just use a brush and sweep it up. Maybe a little compressed air. Black powder is explosive, smokeless powder burns with vigor. Congratulations on getting started with rolling your own ammo. It's really gratifying to find the your own ammo produces groups half the size of factory ammo. I never saved any money reloading, just get to shoot more.

    VP9 loads

I've been running 147gr at 125 pf without a problem. Matches this time of year are indoors and paper only. I'll develop a 133 pf or so load when we move outdoors. Have not shot anything stout er through this VP9 yet.
