  1. I just lay my loaded rounds on a towel hit em with brake cleaner or carb cleaner and roll them around a bit, takes 30 seconds.
  2. I'm with wtturn... That being said people come and go from shooting all the time, I know I took a few years off match shooting, a few of my friends have done the same.
  3. I have what I assume is early stage arthritis in my thumbs, I'm a diesel mechanic so I use them a lot doing up nuts ect. One of the best things that worked for myself for joint support not only for my thumbs but all joints, is gelatine powder taken at a dose of one tea spoon a day. Until you have used up the jar do it two or three times a year.
  4. I have been loading on the 1050 for a few years now, I haven't broken either of those parts. I have seen a bit of chatter on line about it, my swage rod doesn't get much of a workout. I don't load military brass ect. So pretty much all it does is go up and down... If you're worried buy those parts as spares.
  5. I have never owned a 650, I have a couple of friends who do and they're quite happy with them. They look like good machines. I have two 1050s with MBF fitted to both, I would not consider going to a 650. If you can swing the funds go with the 1050. You won't be sorry.
  6. So what you're saying is someone can work the safety, the mag release and the trigger, insert a fresh mag. But it all goes to pot when they want to drop the slide. Yeah. Ok then.
  7. I have two 1050 both worked as expected right out of the box.
  8. I have a dedicated room just for shooting related stuff, I need a bigger one but that would mean I'd need to move so I'll just make do for now.
  9. I have two level 10 innovation spring kits installed in my 1050s and can't recommend them enough for someone who is pushing out a decent number of reloads. I also run level 10's primer catcher they're worth the investment.
  10. After a few beers, possibly. Invite her over for a few beers your day cant get any worse.
