  1. I use clean shot and I also have quick load if you want me to look something up real quick. No complaints. works great.
  2. Thank you guys for the fast reply. I talked to Rick wonderful customer service by the way. The end result I am sending it back to Mid Way USA for an exchange. I guess I was one of the unlucky ones that got the faulty motor.
  3. I checked everything with a multimeter power from the outlet to the feeder then nothing going to the motor.
  4. I have the Mr. Bullet Feeder. I get everything hooked up and adjusted and it will not power on. is there something I am doing wrong any way to trouble shoot this problem? The only thing I can think of is the automatic shut off. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
  5. I have about 10 pounds of shooters world clean shot D0320-03. I am having trouble finding a good starting load and oal for this combination. Any suggestions? Has anyone used this powder it is reasonable in price and always in stock around $16/pound.
  6. That's good to know. My OAL is a little shorter but it seems to be a fairly decent load.
  7. Thanks I was worried. I was waiting for a reply. I am going to go shoot them now.
  8. I just realized I put small rifle primers in 100 rounds of 40 S&W. Do you guys think this will be a huge problem or do you think I can just let it ride. Here is what I have: OAL 1.115-1.120 Bullet-165 gr TMJ Powder Blue Dot-8.6gr Primer- Winchester Small Rifle If anyone has ever done this your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  10. I guess I will start there and see if it will cycle my rifle.
  11. I have a bunch of IMR 4198 and some 208gr Hornady bullets with Remington primed brass. Is there anyway I can make some 300 blackout bullets with this powder? Has anyone used IMR 4198 for 300 blackout? I am open to suggestions on what is working for you all.
  12. My personal opinion is you brass is good to go as long as there are no dents and cracks. Lube, Resize, Trim, and load it up.
  13. My brass is amazing when I take it out of the tumbler. Then after a while I get weird discoloration spots on them. Why does this happen?
  14. I just purchased a one pound spool if stainless steel wire in .041 diameter and got a pair of wire cutters and went to town. This was only 6 dollars for that pound. It took a little bit of time but if you want the media same day and have some time to kill this is an option.
  15. I would love to try it with some stainless steel media. If anyone has some I wouldn't mind buying 2 pounds off of them.
  16. ************ UPDATE ************ Works after 30 Min!! Just tried same results after 30 minutes.
  17. I do not want to be stepping on peoples toes here but. I am always willing to try something new to prep my brass especially my .223 brass. I went out and bought a Harbor Freight 3lb tumbler. I had a 25% off coupon so I was eager to use it. I did not have any stainless steel media so I tried it with 50 pcs of .223 brass dish soap and Lemishine. 1 hour later...The brass is shiny and looks like it was in a tumbler with corn cob media for 3 or 4 hours. I only did 50 pieces but it was easy and only took an hour. If anyone else has tried this what was the max number of .223 you tried to fit in the tumbler at once? I recommend everyone at least try this before they go out and spend more money on the media than the tumbler. YMMV those are just my 2 cents. I attached a before and after pic. I wont label them but guess which one is the after pic (If the pics are not up to par my bad I had to resize them down from 6MB a piece to less than 250kb each) bmp1.bmp bmp2.bmp
  18. No one has thought about skipping the electric motor and using an exercise bike? If anyone has some SS media I would love to buy a few pounds for .223
  19. I will check that out I know a rock tumbler is the same thing and way cheaper because it is not gun related. I just don't understand people paying so much for stainless steel rods. I feel like I can get them at Home Depot for less than half.
  20. Does anyone use a rotary tumbler with stainless steel media? If so where do you buy your stainless steel media at? I know Harbor Freight has the tumbler fairly cheap around $50 any advice about this tumbler and where to pick up media possibly locally. I am in South Texas. Thanks
