  1. I'm sending out a sample of TW25b today, to a gentleman with the initials C.A. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
  2. Hi there, You can order i-SHOT bags from either one of us. MLE is the US distributor for i-SHOT, so it gets shipped out from MLE either way. We're expecting a new batch of EVOlution bags coming in this week or next. We're just waiting for it to clear customs. Thank you!
  3. If you're looking for speedy open, check out the zero tolerance 0300/01/02. Here's a link to them on my site. Once you select either the 033, 0301, or 0302, scroll down to see a flash video of me opening one of them. Not an auto, but one of the sweetest assisted opening knives. Zero Tolerance 0300 Series If you call me, mention this post, and speak to me in Russian, I'll give you a free Lansky Quick-Fix sharpener. Okay, the Russian is optional. In fact, I wouldn't understand you anyway. The rest will do it. My contact information is on my site. Thanks! Mike
  4. That's a sweet knife, isn't it?
  5. Benchmade makes a small auto with a 3" blade. I have one. It is affordable and unless you have the need for a big blade in work, might do the trick.
  6. In RI, the genius politicians came up with the law that you can't carry a knife with a blade longer than 3". No provisions for someone with a LTC either. So, it's okay if one carries a loaded gun, but you can't carry a 4" knife. After all, you might hurt somebody. But, as we know.... It's not the size of your blade that counts, but....
  7. I just came back from Shot Show a few weeks ago. While there, I spotted Tops Knives. I was so impressed, I became a dealer. I just got a bunch of folders that I ordered from Tops. When I spotted the CQT Magnum 711 and CQT Magnum 747 folders, I had that exact same thought... "NOW THAT'S A KNIFE!" My problem, is that I'lll want to keep one of each, which tends to cut down on my profit a bit.
  8. If you're still looking or not happy with the one you found.... While at the Shot Show, I found a great knife company Tops Knives. I was so impressed, I became a dealer. When you get a chance, check them out on my site.
  9. I just picked up the line of TOPS folders. My mainstay is the shooting sports, but I like a smooth opening, beefy knife. I was so impressed, I became a registered dealer.
  10. My two cents: When in doubt, take the gun to a good gunsmith that will test fire your gun and advise you on the proper spring. Guns cost too much, to play around if you're not comfortable with the way it performs/sounds.
  11. All of the above. Ahhh, the quest to be cool when you're a kid.
  12. That is freaking hysterical! Thanks, I needed that.
  13. I was a photo nut for years, using regular old SLR's. Unfortunately, my choice of camera at the time was Konica. It was a nice unit, but they stopped making cameras and went with copiers. It eventually broke, so I went with digital point and shoots when they came out. Recently, I got the bug again, so I started searching. Given my previous experience, I wanted to be sure that the company I chose would not vacate the camera market, so I went with Nikon. Depending on what you mean by entry level.... I ended up buying the D80, because it has most of the bells and whistles, but is much easier to operate that the professional level cameras. If I got hot and heavy into it again, my Nikkor lenses would still fit the higher end Nikon's. So, I'd recommend Nikon, and depending on what you want to spend, the D80. Lense? The Nikkor VR 18-200 lens, will keep her busy for quite awhile. Oh yeah. Macro. The Nikkor AF Micro 60 mm is a real nice lense. In fact, they have a newer than mine, which has some additional features. I'm sure you know that will never go wrong with Nikkor. That's my two cents.
  14. Yeah. Ahhhh. I'm going to go out on a limb, and say that, "Honey, I saw this wine and thought of you..." is not going to win her over. In fact, you might want to duck. A bottle that size, might just hurt a little coming back atcha.
  15. I have to say that the title had me curious. But, now I'll have to buy a bottle of the wine to try it. If for nothing else, a chuckle at the table.
  16. In my opinion..... I'd have to say Dave Sevigny. He is truly focused on the game. When he shoots a stage, he makes it look like he shot it 10 times already.
  17. Guinness or Bass Guiness [if we're talking draft] Gentleman Jack or Woodford Reserve?
  18. Guns? Glock 17. Its simple to operate and takes a beating. If you ever move up to a G34, the mags will fit it. Once you learn how to shoot one Glock, you've pretty much learned them all. A G22 is good too. You can shoot production first and then move to Limited later. The mags also fit a G35. I would not buy a timer right away. Focus on safety, accuracy, and the game itself. Speed comes with practice. The best holster is a solid kydex holster and mag pouches that fit your budget and the rules of the sport. Watching DVD's are great. Dry fire helps. Practice is best. Matt Burkett makes some good ones. I'm not an expert, but.... If you're going to shoot USPSA, buy a modest rig to allow you to shoot Production to start. Master the safety aspects, learn the sport, and most of all enjoy yourself. Talk to local shooters, and find out if any clubs are running clinics or hold weekly practice sessions. There are plenty of training sessions around if you want to travel and spend some money. Find out if a nearby club is hiring someone to come there. Speaking as one of the many with a drawer full of holsters and gadgets that didn't work out.... Keep it safe, keep it simple, and enjoy yourself. You've got plenty of time to spend LOTS of money, as you get better at the sport. Safe and happy shooting!
  19. Just came across this interesting article through my NRA update newsletter: When Seconds Count: Stopping Active Killers
  20. Good for you. You took a personal stand. I'm not sure of the legality of carrying in a bank, but assuming it is true, the sign is unnecessary. The sign seems like more of a statement, than a safety policy. If they wanted to quote law, they should display a sign that states the law, "Federal Law ###/###-A states that it is unlawful to...". As you pointed out, bad guys aren't going to say, "Ooooh, this bank doesn't allow guns. Now, how am I going to hold up the teller?". They'd bring a bazooka in, if they 'd be assured of getting the money. Kidding aside, they made a statement, so you made one. If others do the same, they might just take the sign down. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Kudos to you,
  21. I do. Go to my dealer forum, if you want to see what I have to offer. Thanks! Thanks. I called Chris Tilley and he had 5 left, so I bought those. EG Glad you found what you needed. Thanks,
