  1. Try out the BlackHawk line. I just got three pair and am liking them. They have an elastic type waist that auto adjusts. Pretty cool and are quite comfortable. They still have a deal where if you send in any other "tactical" pant you recieve 50% off a pair of theirs. Details are on their website. I traded in three pair of worn out 5.11s. $75 for three pair of these pants is quite a deal!
  2. I plan on making this one too. The venue has made all the difference to me.
  3. Loads that have been making major for me out of my 6" Schuemann are as follows: 180gr Hard Cast 3.9gr E3 Wolff Std Small Pistol Primers OAL 1.180" 220gr Hard Cast 3.0gr E3 Wolff Std Small Pistol Primers OAL 1.180" I am about to switch over to Magtech magnum primer since that is all I could get my hands on right now. I will post the results as soon as I start them and get some data. Edited to add that the E3 powder is metering well out of my Dillon SDB....loads have all been pretty consistant at 8 standard deviation.
  4. Actually yes I did! Use it.... It is working and dropping free now. It is also easier to load into the gun now too when topped off to 22 rounds. I guess it just needed a little bit of a breaking in period....
  5. Okay, just found a dealer close to work and tried out the Ketyum and Rydon. Both are nicely made but the Ketyum fits closer and my brows were brushing on the lens. The Rydon fits me just fine and cheaper than the Ketyum. I compared the Racing Red with the Impact X photochromic and will definitely go with the Impact X. My insurance covers the frame and lens, how can I get additional prescription lenses using the discount code? Just follow the directions in the first post on this thread: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...st&p=932431
  6. When I was doing the scores for a couple of clubs I would have results ready by the end of the match or no later then that evening. This was before palm scoring btw.
  7. First rate job Ray! If you aren't interested in keeping the grip, pm me.
  8. Scores are posted on the site immediately when uploaded. It is pretty slick actually. The classifier results are posted on or around the 15th of each month.
  9. Nice job! A class is a tough class to compete in, but I am sure you will do well. Enjoy the momentum!
  10. Nice looking cuts. I like the grip too.
  11. I am preferring Racing Red....for all light conditions
  12. Thanks everyone for taking the time. I think I will go with hardchrome on this one and IonBond my Trojan. 1911s are meant to be black!
  13. Here are two pictures, one blued and one "in the white". It will give an idea of the "look". I figure both are great finishes, but would like some opinions as to which looks better.
  14. Now that I have a pretty suffiscient break-in period on my 6" gun, I am trying to decide which finish to go with myself.
  15. in your PM you said "wal-mart" I was just wondering if costco might be cheaper (i have access to a membership) atek3 HUH?!
  16. I don't think you will get Precision's black bullets for that price. I am paying $62.32 per 1K for 220gr .40s. 180gr .40s are $59.50 per 1K. They are hardcast lead, but clean up better than the coated bullets. And there isn't any more smoke than the black bullets. Actually I think there is less smoke.
  17. Thanks Tom, I was just about to ask about the registration form!
  18. Thanks for the fast reply and info Yosh.
