  1. I prefer my red lens to dark or clear lens. I am currently using Oakley's Prizm lens on M frames and I have found that the red gives me the best contrast. When I use a dark lens, the background and sights start fading together and a clear lens does nothing to help block out the sun.
  2. I am new to reloading, but I have been doing my reloading after the baby has been put to bed and the wife has found a tv show she wants to watch and i have no interest in watching. I load whatever I can in the 30 minutes to an hour depending on the show my wife has picked. Once the show is over, so is my reloading for that session.
  3. I dry fire at least everyday Mon-Fri and live fire 2-3 of those days. I generally take the weekend off unless I am shooting a match.
  4. Just to clarify, the days I posted above are the days for Bianchi Cup, not Flagler.
  5. Finally watched it last night. Looks real interesting. Definitely got the season DVRed.
  6. I would suggest the cz over the 92, but if you are also looking at the xd 5.25, I would choose the xd just for the longer sight radius. I shot Bianchi cup this past year with an M&P 4.25 and wished I had the Pro 5in.
  7. Has anybody tried UnderArmour's new tactical pant. I saw them at the store yesterday and they felt light, I just couldn't tell.
  8. My choice would be M&P Pro over the other two options.
  9. After seeing what has been posted here and the reloading bench gallery, I have decided to build my own. Will post pictures once I get it built. Thanks for the help guys.
  10. Tough situation but you definitely did the right thing. Being DQed is generally a self correcting error and generally the she shooter doesn't make the same mistake twice.
  11. As a LEO, I carry my duty weapon off duty (Sig 229) but I shoot a M&P9 Pro for USPSA
  12. Shoot slow and SAFE till you get used to moving and shooting. Take your time and ask questions. Don't rush to change shooting class. If you start in Production, stick with it for at least 1 full season before switching to another class like limited.
  13. Started with a S&W M&P9c. It was my everyday carry and was good enough for the first couple IDPA competitions I shot.
  14. For all the Breaking Bad fans, there is going to be a spin off "Better Call Saul." Can't wait. Supposed to include characters from Breaking Bad, but will be following Saul instead of Walt.
  15. I like the show, it has a good story so far, but I feel after a season or 2 it will get old and will become repetitive.
  16. I use a Sony Action Cam mounted to the left side of my hearing protection. It took a little bit to get used to, but once I was used to it, I forgot it was there. It has a wide angle view so I can watch my grip and trigger control as well as see down range.
  17. It is the Saturday/Sunday before Memorial Day. Shot it for the first time this past year and will definitely be going back.
  18. Bushing barrel, short dust cover perfect for 3 gun with fart loads and you can make it work for IDPA as well. The last time I shot a IDPA, you couldn't shoot a bull barrel over a certain length but I am not up on the rules. The dawson ice magwell is nice for 3 gun but too big for IDPA. The STI 2011 magwell is a slightly too big but can be easily modified to fit a box.
  19. My buddy turned me onto these shoes. They are the only sneaker I own now. They have a style with large nubs on the bottom that help with traction on the range.
  20. A buddy of mine did a little testing and we needed 5.2gr with a 124 JHP out of a stock 5" M&P barrel to make Minor PF. Felt recoil was very similar to a minor Titegroup load using the same bullet, primer and case at 4.2gr.
