if i had to use a 550, i would just quit the sport. 500 rounds will take a long time on 550. This is not an expensive sport compared to other sports. Hunting, fishing and golfing can be just as expensive. I would either get 650, or 1050.

If you are loading 38 super or super comp it will stick, and machine 1050 does not run smooth with MBF powder die. 40's and 9's runs smooth.

You need a Lyman Expanding Die. That will correct it and your powder will stop spilling with the jerking sticking result that you are getting with the MBF powder die.

I am not interested in 29 or 30. Stock STI's hold 29 without any problem. If guaranteed 30 I like it.

Replay should be looked at. I like my results and the camera is small. audio and video are good.

I put a bright light over the case to see clearly the powder level. Easy to monitor.

The ones insulting Chicago should stay home. I agree. But sir, Chicago is great and very safe downtown. I just stayed at the Silversmith. Great food, great staff, and rooms are really something special. Great rates. If you are flying into Midway or O'hare take the subway. It will drop you off within 2 blocks of everything. Wear warm clothes and walk everywhere of take subway. I am a country boy, but I love going to Chicago.

mr. bullet feeder can fix this. I had exact problem. You need a Lyman extender added to your press. Remove the powder measure from bulletfeeder and re-install the old funnel.. Then it works perfect.

i have a very nice 38 super Para that I am about to place in classified. It is a flawless running gun. maybe you would rather buy it that build or just have as a backup. You can copy it if you wish.

If u are trying to get in open cheaply, it will not be a good idea. I have a para 1911 that has 5 magazines and runs great. But is is in 38 super. If you interested in a good gun that will work out for a beginner, please let me know and I will give u price and pics.

It is finicky, but is much easier to comtrol with top plastic cover removed. I load about 2000 per month and would hate to be without it. I have 2 extra ones, that I will list in future. Winchester primers run better than Federal. I do get about .5-1% upside down, but to me the time saved is well worth to me.

If I were u I would look at Replay Mini HD 1050. My son has a GoPro which is very good, but for shooting the RePlay is much better. GoPro is much larger and heavier.

There are 3 of us that have them. 5% inverted is about right. Adjust all u want, and it will remain the same. Not worth using.

In 2 hours I can load about 2000. If you have time constraints , get rid of 550. If I had a 550 I would have quit reloading. Get a super 1050 and spend 20 minute for loading primers and about 200 or so ammo.
