  1. Call JP. They will steer you in the right direction.
  2. I have ran 4 full cycles through the C mag in the jp gmr 12 with no malfunctions.
  3. Shortend Beta C MAG for Glock to fit better.
  4. JP Enterprises GMR 12. Got this one early before they changed the model to GMR 13.
  5. If they catch on and sell a pile of them I wonder if S&W will try to make the C frame model 73 again?
  6. How about we try PCC's in steel challenge. They already have a RF rifle division. My local match director said I need to load light 9mm out of my 14.5" barrel PCC so I don't damage his steel. Really? I didn't push the mater. It would be allot of fun though.
  7. Food for shot. A Beta Cmag shortend for the GMR-12. Used 4 full cycles and no malfs.
  8. +1 for the JP GMR-13. Mine runs great with all of my Glock mags Stock, limited, and open. 100 yard gun all day even with crap ammo. The dual top and side charging handles are really slick. I can shoot it as fast as a rim fire carbine in steel challenge.
  9. I was at a local match last year where their were three paper targets at 45 - 50 yards and the stage description required two hits to the body or one to each head to get full credit for the target. The shooters who knew their guns could really pull ahead. The rest of us were left stuffing more slug shells in our guns to finish the stage. Now I know what my scatter gun does with what ammunition and with what choke at different ranges. I choose to get better and learn my gear not complain about the challenges that attracted me to the shooting sports in the first place. The shotgun is a challenge accept it and overcome or be left reloading on the clock wishing you spent more time on the practice range.
  10. In Alaska sometimes the charging targets win. Daaa bears. Points for realism right?
  11. Want one. Two if I have to. Any rumors on who in AK is getting any? VF Grace?
  12. Hay guys, I just found a better way to tape up slug holes on paper targets. I was at my local UHAUL store renting a trailer and found out they sell 2" wide brown paper tape. That is better than trying to patch up holes with regular target tape.
  13. I just got my GMR12 from JP out to the range this past week. During break in, zeroing and testing it ate everything from Blazer 124gr, Remington 115gr, Winchester 147 tcm, to white box 115gr. about 400 rounds with zero malfunctions. Hornady 135gr. critical defence ammo shot 1.5" high at 50 yards and 1.5" low at 100 yards. Even rapid fire with a 100 round beta Cmag produced zero malfunctions. After cleaning I got the chance to shoot it in a Steel Challenge match witch surprised me because their isn't a division for pistol caliber carbines. But the match director allowed it if I let the other shooters try it on smoke and hope for fun. 4 stages in about 65 seconds. The action is a little clunky while firing when compaired to a .223 gas gun. I am blaming it in the heavier 9mm bolt and buffer. The gun was always ready and waiting on me to get to the next target so the clunkyness didn't seem to slow me down much if at all. It just feels different when shooting. My times at the Steel Challenge match were as fast or faster with the GMR12 and a red dot than I normally do with an iron sited rim fire carbine. I am very pleased with the JP. They took right at 16 weeks from when the check cleared to complete the build and ship the weapon. That was with in their estimate of 8 to 16 weeks. The dual charging system is pretty slick as well.
  14. If I had a G26 I would slide the Cmag into it just for the picture. I am a big fan of stupidity and that would be a home run.
  15. I held it up to my USPSA Limited mags and it is a little shorter so it should fit the gauge. I just don't think it will fit in the pistol and it you could make it fit their wouldn't be any room for your hand.
  16. Well I broke down and decided to try it. You can't switch out the mag tube. They used a cut down 31 round Glock mag tube so I just cut it down some more. The tube is attached to the plastic adapter with two roll pins and glue. I took it out today and it functiond through two cycles with no problems. Once with 115gr and once with 124gr ammo. Rapid and steady fire.
  17. Have you tried out your GMR 13 yet? If so what kind of accuracy are you getting with what loads? I am also curious what the magwell looks like. Beveled?
  18. Now that does sound like fun. Thanks for sharing your experience.
  19. Does any one have one of Beta's 100 round C Mag's for the Glock 9mm pistol? I am wanting to know if they use a stock Glock 31 round 9mm mag tube and if it can be switched out for a G17 or G19 mag tube to better fit a JP GMR 13 9mm carbine and lighten it up by getting rid of some of the spacer rounds. I contacted Beta a month ago and no response yet. It looks like a Glock Mag tube in their pictures but at that price I would like some more opinions before I try it.
