Those SNS ones are the ones I'm looking at. With that current promo code the prices are really attractive.

From what I understand, the ones I'm looking at are some sort of "polymer blend" and not moly if that makes a difference at all. I just can't decide of the savings is worth it. $150 savings per 2500 bullets is pretty big with my budget.

My bullet stash is dwindling and it's almost time for me to order another batch. I've been shooting precision delta fmjs and have been happy with the performance. It looks like there's pretty substial savings to be had by going to coated lead bullets. I'm just wondering about the mess. Before PD, I shot cast bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. I liked the price and the way they shot but I hated the nasty mess that they left inside my pistols... Will these coated bullets be messy? Thanks in advance!

^ That was what I was referring to with "the paper trick"... I was doing it with a folded piece of paper. It definitely works, I just wanted to feel the break each time. I swapped out their striker spring with a Zev Tech one and it brought the pull down to about 10ish...

^ I'm glad to see it's not just me. That makes me feel more comfortable saying that this was a primer issue and not one with my gun or reloading. Thanks for the advice guys! Looks like I'm on the lookout for some other SPPs!

After reading on here for the last few weeks, I've decided that I want to get serious about shooting. I took the advice of many on here and decided that I'm going to dedicate A LOT more time to dry fire. I tried it for a while but hate having to rack my slide and not being able to take multiple shots (didn't care for the paper trick). So with all that said, I bought a Glock Store auto reset trigger. It came in today and I threw it in the G17. It went in super easy. I don't know if I did something wrong or maybe I got a defective one but this thing is HORRIBLE. It does auto reset which is nice but the pull on it is no less than 10lbs. By far the heaviest trigger that I have ever felt. Has anyone else tried one of these? Was your experience similar or did I screw something up perhaps? I'm gonna shoot them an email and maybe they'll be able to help... Definitely not what I expected for a $200 training device.

I don't disagree with ya... I'm just lost right now. I have NO idea what's going on with these.

OAL- ~1.145" Bullet- Precision Delta 124gr FMJ Barrel- Have been tried in Glock, LWD, and XD barrels. The primers are below flush. Originally I was concerned that they may be seated too deep, however the most 2 most recent ones were seated what I would call perfectly. Just below flush.

I thought that might be it but I cleaned it before the last trip.... MORE DETAILS for those who might be able to help: - I can load these round back into the mag and they will not fire. - These are Tula primers so I thought maybe they were just hard. BUT these same 3 rounds will not fire out of a 100% stock glock either. I just can't seem to get through range session/match without one of these.... Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well... I went ahead and dropped the Glockworx striker in and had 1 more light strike today... That makes 3 out of about my last 300 rounds, about 3 more than I've ever had prior to this! Any ideas what could be going on here? I measured the rounds and I don't know if it's coincidence but all 3 are about .020" shorter than they should be.

While I haven't tried some of the ones listed here (like the Vertx), I have been really pleased with the Blackhawk Lightweight Tactical pants. They fit me well and they have a non-slip band along the inside of the waist that has made concealed carrying much more comfortable.

I have Lone Wolf barrels for every glock that I own (mostly conversion barrels) and have never had an issue.... I'm interested in what's going on with yours.

Well I did fail to mention that I have the Glockworx spring kit in this one. I never thought that they would seat too deep either but I've done a little experimenting and these rounds won't fire out of the girlfriends XD9 either... You think the extended striker is worth a shot?

Here's the situation: I keep screwing up and seating primer a little too deep on my Hornady press. I have made a conscious effort not to do this, but still get about 1 ever 50-100 rounds. They are just a touch too deep... The striker hits them and leaves a small dent but it's noticeably smaller than "normal". My question is this: Will the Glockworx extended tip make a difference with this? My thought is that even if it was just a little bit extended, even my "deep" primers would go bang. Like everybody, I'm in search of that 100% reliability and I've proven to myself that I'm pretty sure I'll continue to screw up at the press... Thanks!

Hello all, You have a wonderful forum here. I've been lurking for a LONG time but just recently decided to join and post a bit. A little about me: I spend WAY more time that I should looking at, thinking about, or messing with guns and gun related things. A few years back I started reloading and doing some small gunsmithing work (on my own guns only) and have been hooked ever since. I've hunted and shot rifle/shotgun since I was a kid but have only got into the "pistol world" in the last few years. It started by getting my CCW and committing to practice regularly with that. From there, I've been having a lot of fun improving the skills I have and taking classes to learn new ones. I'm now becoming interested in doing a little bit of competition when I have the time. I've picked up some pretty basic gear and have started a dry fire practice program from tips picked up here. I look forward to continuing to pick up advice and learn form the people here.
