  2. AM running an invictus hangar, I love it. used loctite on all the fasteners while setting it up, am really pleased w it. Kevin is excellent at cust service, makes a good product and is right in my backyard. even w him 12 miles away, I still buy through the dealers he supports. His products are worth the money. hth
  3. I ran 40 for a while, did a comparison w my bro in law. He ran a sig 226 9mm,w 155 gr rounds, i ran a 226 in 165 gr 40,...I did better running the 9 in speed and target acquisition. He agreed, did thesame and felt the same. I like the 40 power, but i don't want to spend time screwing w loads to get 9 mm type recoil and consistency out of a 40. Factory ammo for a 9 has been less, so I decided not to fix my stuff till it was broke. Today I run 9mm for 3 gun, everything else is 40 for work. HTH
  4. Why won they kill him??? tx has been big on death penalty...

  13. Try a harbor freight ultrasonic w stiletto bath from Italian gun grease. Works for me! Got tired tumbler noise
  14. Correct the o ring sits in a groove inside of the cylinder w the holes around the edge. The o ring seems to act as a cushion and seal when it bottoms out. Again I found mine because half was missing and I saw a piece of it sticking out....
  15. You suck!!! Only kidding!!!! Lol good deal I paid @ 1100 for mine when they 1st came out, that was for a 21, u did real good!
  16. It's in a groove inside of the cylinder, part number 57 on the expanded view. I didn't believe it either till I pulled half of an oring out of the cylinder near the gas ports under the barrel.
  17. Was sitting bored and looked over at the 1301 and thought WWJD ? I'd give it a winter checkup and cleaning. As I took it apart I noticed the o ring was missing half so I checked w a big gun parts store that had em listed for 10 bucks. Lotta money for a o ring,Just for gp I went to my local hose shop ( hose not hoes) and brought the 1301 piston in. Voila! A 023 Viton o ring worked. Viton will handle 350 degrees of heat. Good enough for me. Cost under 2 bucks It fits in the proper groove fine w no lube as recommended by beretta.
  18. some photos w a "how to lube description for the 1301" looks good, https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.767404176637577.1073741828.129160250461976&type=1
  19. Tandy leather has Chicago screws/ rivets that can be used w some modification for mounting belt gear and making shotgun rigs
  20. I Like the Fiocchi 1 oz FWIW i found this on the tube, not too bad, 1301 tactical cleaning video, they stress do not lube the piston.
