I have some accurate #5 I use for my plated 180 rainiers but its hard to measure in my lee perfect powder measure dose anyone else have this problem. With 231 or pp I have no problem with it being stiff.

I use accurate #5 5.8gr with a 180gr rainer plated 1.128 col in my glock 23 it's cycles just fine and is accurate And I also use win 231 4.1gr with the 180gr rainer plated at 1.28 col I'm using Winchester small pistol primers in both loads. -
I will be getting some 9mm bullets and I want to know what weight people like to use Rmr 115 rn plated 124 plated I will be shooting these out of a glock 23 with lone wolf 40 9 barrel

What do you mean by "production legal"? And i would be reloading the 9mm if that makes a difference on what barrel i should get.

I reloaded a small batch with 4.4 of 231 it seemed a little snappy but I've been shooting alot of winchester white box 165 grain Lately. And no signs of excessive pressure in the brass Thank you guys for the help -

I noticed that 40 federal bass that the primer pocket was sloppy in at least 70% of what resized and primed but the Winchester and Remington was fine I was using Winchester wsp small pistol primers

Im new to reloading and i just want a safe load for having some fun the range. I have a couple reloading books but they dont have any loads for copper plated bullets. I ordered some 180grain rainiers today. Dose 4.1 grains of 231with a 180gr rainier sound right for a starting load? Thank you for your help -
