  1. How about using a Lee die with a guided decapper ? Might force it into position. https://leeprecision.com/338-to-35-cal-heavy-duty-guided-decapper
  2. I just tried it. A closed small bar holds around 1.9gr of N310.
  3. Your results may vary... 115 gr with 3.0 N310 = 111 pf out of a 5" barrel - Super soft shooting. 115 gr with 3.7 N310 = 123 pf 115 gr with 4.0 N310 = 131 pf
  4. Accuracy X Multi-Sight Racker Module Easy LO option. Your results may vary, but ... Machined the pocket to tightly fit the plate, three 6-32 holes down the center. Indicated off of the breech face and took it down to the top of a Bomar pin stop. Removed some extra material since I was under the hood anyway.

  14. I want to use it as a comparative measurement tool not absolute. Needed something to keep track of where I was during throat reaming. Make them all the same and then ultimately make a stub gage to use for plunking new bullet profiles.
  15. I have 6 different 9mm's, all with varied oal requirements. Bought a throating reamer to standardize them. Problem is how to measure the depth of an angle at a particular diameter. Tried optically and that sucked. So came up with this and wanted to share. Starting from the left, that is a .3540" gage pin. It slides inside of a turned aluminum sleeve that mimics a case in the chamber. The pin slides all the way in flush with the sleeve, so that the indicator can be zeroed. Then you insert it into the chamber and a measurement from the case step to the .3540" datum line is given. My particular chambers ranged from .125" to .062" using this method.
  16. Aluminum off of Ebay, LOTS of rounds later. No issues at all. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193755107498
  17. Made it. Found a bolt ( Trybe Defense ) with an internal extractor, so there would be enough material for the charging handle threads ( 10-32 ). Used a AR Stoner upper. After the handle was installed, put the slot in. Comes in just under four pounds.
  18. Not a lot of miles here yet either but, so far so good.
  19. Anyone else running the Wiland notice that it likes a short oal ? Did some plunks yesterday. DG 115 was at 1.089 and a Acme 147 was at 1.116.
  20. My results with N310. 4.2 gr with a 90 HP will go 1200 out of a short barrel 3.0 gr with a 115 will go 1000 out of a 5.25" Feels like you are shooting a slingshot.

  22. Springfield XDM 5.25 - 115 Eggs / DG - 3.0 N310 = 1000 fps I think that the slingshot would have more recoil.
  23. Your results may vary... P320 X5 w/ sig dot installed 115 Eggs over 3.0 N310 = 112PF 1911 Guide Rod with a full length ( Not Cut ) Government Spring - 9 lbs Cycles good - Ejects straight out the side 2 - 3 feet
  24. Evening All, Anyone know of a source for some Mag Base Grip Tapes to fit the 140mm SP base pads ? Thank you
