  7. I use the same bullets and crimping dies.....never had that problem....I agree pull some bullets and check to make sure you are actually shaving them...
  8. I have loaded these at 1.10, 1.20 and 1.090 and they ran fine....I settled on 1.090 for my XDS....the XDS absolutely loves this length, eats one big hole in the BE

  15. Holy cow with all the auto feed equipment it looks more like a gym session than making ammo Nice setup
  16. Not so sure. I just checked on 1000 124 RN and they are $72 at Cabelas whereas they are $93.45 direct from Berry's. I guess shipping is free from Berry's but still it looks like direct from Berry's is about the worst way to buy them unless I am missing something. Even when not on sale they are still cheaper at Cabelas @ $85 per k Edited to add: That's still a lot for a plated bullet. Especially Berry's. Look at BBI's for only $77 shipped to your door direct from BBI Sarge 7.2 cents a piece is relatively cheap for a plated bullet at today's prices and still cheaper than coated lead BBI's at the moment.....if you ship to the store and pick them up there is no shipping cost
  17. Cabela's has Berry bullets on sale 20% off...good deal...not in stock but they are taking back-orders...4-5 week wait
  18. Lyman manual says for 125 gr JHP use 3.1 min 3.6 max OAL 1.075 Use the 80 % rule and work up from there
  19. No, none of the 1050's be it RL or super carry anything more than a 1 year warranty. Their manual states that it has a "lifetime warranty" covering manufacturing defects... dont know what that entails, but i dont see dillon standing behind anything to do with a 1050 after the 1 year period. I had to argue with them on a couple occasions when parts broke on my super 1050 that was 2 months old... they still wanted to charge me full price for parts. part of that 350 in parts included a new caliber conversion kit as the one on the press is not something i was going to use(45acp) and the shell plate was cracked, and i also bought the complete primer change over parts to go to small pistol primers. that was where most of the money went. i started reassembling and greased up all the ram parts and its smooth as hell. much smoother than my 1050 ever was. i will test it out after the parts get here with a run of 4500 40cal brass and then load them all up. Makes sense....guess they are used in commercial applications a lot
