Can I pretty please see how it turned out? I've been trying to get with Nordic on actually manufacturing a clamp that fits instead of false advertising a proper fitment for the 712. Got to give me a few days, I'm currently on the road.

2 things: 1) I'm in for a stainless bolt handle ( I'm in for what ever finish gets the most votes but stainless is choice 1) 2) Dremel and grinding stone worked well to open the fingers on the Nordic barrel clamp.I ground about .05 from both ends and both sides/end, a little insta blue and reclamped it on. Now the gaps are exactly where the ext and barrel were without the clamp on it.

I put on the Nordic Components +3 with the clamp the other day and then the HiViz Tombuster 2 sights this morning. The clamp does put some pressure on the barrel. The gap between the barrel and the ext. tube was .310 at the end of the barrel and was .316 at the tube nut. After installing the clamp, the gap between the barrel and tube was .210 and the barrel and nut was .219. I believe that the clamp can be ground out slightly to fix this. Pics of where I'm at now.

Yes, I did order the tube clamp. Does the NC follower fit the CZ tube?

Just bought a CZ712U. LGS here in NC had it for $409. After reading this forum and talking to others, I think this will be a great gun.Ordered the Nordic Components +3 Ext, and the Hi-Viz sights. Can't wait to get it out to the range. I would be in for zfields Bolt handle ext. also.
