Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. 1301 with the Nordic +5. Minor polishing on the front of the loading port.
  2. You can't go wrong adding parts from the Apex line.
  3. Unfortunately Dawson does not make extended base pads for the M&P. I've not heard great things from the Arredondo base pads. So you gotta go with the TT or TF. I went with the TF simply because I can get them locally. I have a few thousand rounds through them without a hiccup.
  4. I primarily shoot the Wal Mart Federal bulk stuff. It eats it like pacman.
  5. Ain't nothing as light as an M2. A better statement would be lighter than a Versamax. Time to bring out a scale! Recently pickup up a 1301 and love it!Google it. It's at least a pound heavier in similar barrel length and features.Curious what is the weight of an M2? I weighed my 1301 today and it came in at 7 lbs 1.8 oz. I'd attach a pic but Im not sure how. FYI this is with the 24" barrel and a Nordic +5

  7. I recently picked up a 24" 1301. I love it. At this time I have only added the Nordic plus 5. I have done quite a bit of practice with load 2 and it is pretty smooth. Eventually I will get the loading gate welded up since it has lightly bitten me a couple times. Other than that, I don't really see me doing alot of grinding on it other than knocking the sharper edges off.
  8. I've got a 9mm Just Right Carbine and I love it. Zero malfunctions. 95% of the ammo thru it was hand loads by me. I would say the only thing I wish it did was lock the bolt back after the last round. It does have an ambi charging handle to make it easy to manipulate. I am in the process of putting it in my trust and making it an SBR.
  9. I'll check it out. Actually Austin area. Thanks.
  10. I've been shooting idpa off and on for the last 3 years. I enjoy it as we'll as our local carbine matches. Like everyone else, whatever I'm doing, I'd rather be shooting.
