    That is the left side
  2. Can't wait to see you tear it up this year. You planning on shooting TN this year?
  3. What about a Polymer only Slide Mounted optics division?
  4. i left the sight as is, but i started shooting with the CZ, so it wasnt any different for me. Practice makes YOU more accurate. But I understand you are looking for something that mimics what you are accustomed to.
  5. Order the next height up from Dawson and file the top down. I thought about that, but CZ Custom's website says that the Accushadow needs a 7.5mm front sight. Converted to inches, that's 0.295 inches. The tallest sight I see on Dawson's site is 0.275. Of course, that may still work since I'm running a HAJO adjustable rear.....but they're out of stock at the moment. *sigh* Czcustom measure sights differently. .215 is the ticket ^^^ Oh really? That makes things a little easier! (although Dawson is still sold out of the .215) They aren't sold out...that just means they have to cut one which takes 2 more days. I got mine in 5 days. Thanks jabbermurph! Order submitted! So did this work out? I was also looking at doing something similar but want a 0.95 width. Stuart told me that the height is indeed 7.5mm = 0.29 inches. Wondering if I should just take the risk and file my current sight's width...... :/ Worked out perfectJust to confirm, you purchased the Dawson .215 FO & filed it down? Did you re-coat the top of the sight with anything? Can you post some pics of how it turned out. I just purchased an accu-shadow for Xmas. So far I love it except for the FO front sight. I use the TTI FO fronts on my glocks. I absolutely love Taran's design - FO rod at the very top, shiny screw for reflection & open top for more light. Idk why other sight makers haven't made improvements to their designs over the years. I'd really appreciate some more details & some pics. I've never filed a sight down so I'm a little nervous. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk No filing. That is the proper size. Dawson and CZ measure their sights differently
  6. Wonder if that front rail weight would fit the P-09? Would be similar to Vogel 's Lim Glock mod, just sexier
  7. That or make it polymer guns only, that way it actually would be the most affordable division. Have weight limits for slides and frames weighed separately. make a minimum pull weight at 3# to even out the hammered vs. striker debate.
  8. Easy...ELPHere's another: "The sermon goes mourning, Pricking it's hail Slothful the child, That preys on the seed Shall behead the drought, Wound under sleeves I hope you have room, In a thicket of vines Give me a moment, To clean what you've stole The streets will hang high, Stretch ribs and let taste We'll cover the smell with silver nitrate Mending the cuts of your prosthetic faith"
  9. If that is your position, you should not be a match director(assuming you are in that role now by your earlier comments). What else are you going to let slide? Lotsa butthurt going on in this thread. Keep up the entertainment, gentlemen...this is almost as good as Ferguson.
  10. Lulz.....congrats on making Master
  11. I believe the factory recoil spring is 18# and the mainspring is 20#....makes slide racking a chore

  13. I had the same problem at first with shaving. It takes a very minimal flare, and a little twist of the fingers while placing the bullet so it sits properly. Now that it is solved I can push about 800/hr on a 550 with a case feeder

  19. same hereThe strong hand ring finger, right below the second knuckle. If I'm not wearing a bandaid on that finger, I haven't been practicing Sent from my Z796C using Tapatalk
  20. Isn't that what the sights/dots are for? Sighting aids won't help you fight the urge to jerk the trigger when the little sighting indicator goes from red to green. Programming and marking targets and then tracking which have been engaged already might be handy, especially on memory stages. on the trackingpoint, you pull on the trigger but it doesnt fire until the sights line up Then what's the point of competing? Kinda takes the game away from the game
  21. How do you normally finish in local when shooting a full open rig?
