Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've been in the process of coating all of my pistols to Cerakote and I really like the new Elite Cerakote as far as initial quality of finish goes. I will repost any durability issues later. Just now trying Elite series coatings as they are fairly new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. From a glock 35 to 34 perspective I have found that in comparison of the 9mm factory barrel to the KKM 40-9mm conversion barrel the accuracy with freedom munitions 124gr 9mm and 115gr 9mm ammo is better with the KKM conversion barrel i have made shots out to 100 yards with not problem. 3. My Mossberg JM Pro 930 always runs fine. Although I have witnessed several that have issues. I run Winchester Super X 2 3/4" 6 Shot all of the time. 1 1/8 oz loads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Try a pair of Surefire EP4's Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. A guy told me today that at at the gun show in Louisville, KY he picked up a new SW M&P in 40SW noncompetition model for 350.00
  6. Taran tactical innovations Best for glocks
  7. The Taran sights have a choice of red and green fiber optic rods that come with the sight set. Green is the most visible color to human eyes. You may like the red better so you get a choice. But .60 ? No sights are over a half an inch. iI measure these fiber optic rods at 0.040 inches The front sight width is 0.120 inches The sights work best on the Glock 34 and Glock 35 or any Glocks with longer slides. That said I use them on all glocks But I have nothing against Dawson I like Taran tatical for the involvement in 3-gun
  8. Watch Keith Garcia practice in his garage.
  9. Check out the Noveske NSR it is not too small once the panel kits are installed. With a 15 inch rail you will need 4 hand-stop panel kits. The panels increase the surface area and provide traction for your hand. The flat bottom works nicely with the the stops for barricade support.
  10. I personally cannot focus on the front site if the rear site also has fiber-optic rods in it I prefer a dark rear sight with the fiber optics on the front, it just seems more natural and it helps aid accuracy. Your eyes will become distracted with the fiber optics in the back and lose focus on the front sight and I've always been a stickler for focusing on the front sight with no distractions. So I prefer Taran tactical Glock sights. I know my split times are faster now that I'm using these sights.
  11. True Colt in 1994 made crap. Then Stag wasn't around. My buddy still has regrets from buying a Colt for it still has failures to feed. I suppose Colt had to get better feed ramps by now.
  12. I run the BCM MOD A44 Ambi dexterous models and its around 65-70 bucks. It handles alot of hard charges and no ill effects. I have not tried the raptor.
  13. Yea JP 3-gun model lol How about that Really the three gun models DPMS makes really? I was told by competition shooters at Camp Perry to stay away from that company as some parts tend to break. Maybe as consumer I don't care who sponsors three gun matches I'm not a sponsored shooter. I'm gonna buy parts and guns from quality companies like Noveske, JP, and Troy, Magpul not DPMS. Sorry but stag, armalite, DPMS Colt I've seen those guns have problems over the years with feeding failures to feed so I tend to stay away from those guns I don't care Who sponsors what, that's great that they sponsor three gun I'm happy for You. I love 3 gun but give me a good JP rifle anytime or Noveske, Black Rain all great guns. The others are Mid to bottom of the line, my opinion.
