  2. Just set up the loader, and all is working well actually. But I do have a question about which powder bar is the one to use. I'm throwing Bullseye for a .45 ACP. Does either the small or large bar tend to throw a more accurate measure? Which would you guys recommend for 4.5 - 5 gr. of bullseye? I have turned out about 600rds, and they show no signs of excessive pressure, but when I weigh a few, they deviate from 2 to 4 tenths sometimes. I try and maintain a consistent stroke of the machine, but just can't quite seem to get it dialed in. That being said, I am weighing on a Hornady digital, and it doesn't want to 'lock' in each time. I will go old school and back it up with a beam scale to double check. I just don't have my old Redding in my hand at the moment. Please consider, this is all coming from an old single stage/trickler guy. New to the forum, and appreciate your help. Jim
  3. Old fart, been lurking, and find this is one of the 'best' forums to learn! Have shot competition rifle and shotgun most of my 62 yrs, and now am wanting to try the IDPA if my joints can hold out. By no means an accomplished pistolero but feel I haven't lost all my skills yet. Glad to be a part of the forum. Thanks, Jim
