  1. Dare I ask what the issue is with Optics Planet. I've only ordered from them once with no issues. Only place I actively boycott is Cheaper Than Dirt.
  2. I'll second the Leupold mounts, been using one with my Mark AR 1-4 for over a year and I haven't had any issues. Paid about $90 I think. I just started using a Vortex cantilever mount and no issues yet, paid about the same for it.
  3. I've owned the 5.11 Rush 72 for a while now and it's by-far the best pack I've ever used. Holds more than you could possibly need for a day of shooting. I've used it for multi-day travel as well as it still fits in a planes overhead. Durability on it is excellent, no issues at all. Shood be good for your work stuff at all. If you think it's too big then maybe get a smaller size. I just like having one bag that does everything. It's actually so good, someone stole my original one. Guess it was just too nice for them to keep their thieving hands off of.
  4. I have the same issue and I made the decision early on to shoot shottie and rifle left handed. The shift sucks a little at first but it's worth the effort IMHO.
  5. I had the same issue shooting my first competition a couple weeks ago. Felt fine and confident practicing a week before, but once the buzzer sounded and I was rushing all my shots were going low. Hoping shooting a few more events and focusing on that front sight will help get the jitters out.
  6. Any news if anyone has a +0 cap for the Versatube in the works??? If Nordic knew there was a demand for it maybe something could get worked out. BTW Mark the tube works like a dream (getting the old tube off was not a dream though...), got to try it out a couple weeks ago. thanks for all your work!!!
  7. My Leupold mount on my Mark AR normally returns to zero. I only had to make minor modifications once. Paid less than a hundred for it and I've been very happy with it.
  8. Good afternoon everybody. Been shooting regularly over a year know ... and I was already getting tired of bench/indoor range shooting. After a friend suggested taking a try at competitive shooting, I started looking into it and I think this is exactly what I needed. Checked out my first 3-gun match at Peacemaker National Training Center in Glengary, WV as a spectator and I was instantly hooked. I've been lurking around here for a month now and the amount of information on here is incredible and has been very helpful. Thanks to everyone out there for helping out newbs like myself. Can't wait to shoot my first 3-gun match at PNTC. See you at the range.
