  1. They are running right around 1100fps or so. They were shooting 6-8" groups at 25 yards. The gun is brand new. It might get better once it's broke in a little but I was expecting much better. The factory ammo shot about the same. I shot my PM9 with the same ammo and was getting 2" groups at the distance.

  2. Thanks BeerBaron! That's exactly what I'm looking for. My open gun is a 9 major. I just wanted a couple of nice 1911s that weren't run of the mill 45's but have a couple of 9mm and wanted something with more punch but I don't want to kill it with a Major loads. Just nice and warm supers in a non-compensated platform.

  3. Okay guys I'm looking for real 38 super loads. I'm shooting these in two new 19ll's. One is a Les Baer 5" Premiere II and the other is a Custom Dan Wesson V-bob. Both have fully supported ramped barrels. I don't need to make major I just want some nice hot safe super loads. All my manuals have watered down 9mm velocity loads. I have plenty of 9mm's if I want to shoot those. When I shoot my supers I want to shoot supers. I have a ton of powder but I have a stock pile of WSF I would like to use up but I'm not opposed to buying more powder if I have too. I have 115 and 124 extreme 9 millimeter bullets and a ton of .357 Dia 110, 125 158 and 180 grain bullets. Thanks for the help!

  4. Okay for you guys running spruh mounts I have a Nightforce 5.5-22x55 that I'm putting on this rifle. The only thing I have to do is get the mount. I'm using the TI one piece rail that came one the gun. Will the medium be high enough to clear and still keep it as low as it can? I hoping not to have to raise the cheek piece much and hopefully none at all.

  5. Okay guys sorry I've been missing for a bit. I've been doing a ton of research. I'm about ready to pull the trigger. I think I'm set on the Nightforce just for the simple fact they have a good name and I'm love the MOAR and MOAR-T reticles. Now there's a thousand dollars differents between the NXS and the ATACR F1. Is first focal plane and the jump in glass worth a grand. That's a lot of powder and bullets but you know what they say about buying once and crying once. So it's between these two and I'll spend the money if it's a huge advantage. If not I'll buy more components.

  6. To be honest I'm not sure where I will end up. I've always been a very competitive pistol shooter but as far as rifles go I've just always shot for fun. I love to ground hog and coyote hunt and I go to Wyoming every June for two weeks to shoot prairie dogs. I love to shoot that's the reason I bought the rifle I did. I'm on the forth barrel on my 264 win mag deer rifle and on my second 6.5-284 barrel I use for ground hogs. I have a 1000 yard range 20 minutes from my house so I'm sure once I start hanging out there I'll jump into whatever they shoot there on a regular bases. On both of the mentioned rifles I have leupold 6.5-20x50 fine plex with target turrets. All of the shooting that I do is with a range finder but I would like to change that. I had a 5R for awhile that was a hammer it would shoot 175gr match kings in the .4s on a regular bases if I did my part. Sold it to buy another open gun and have been kicking myself ever since.

  7. Hey Gene, yep I finally bought one. That's a lot of money for a non custom rifle but I've been wanting one for a long time. I figured with a half minute of angle guarantee and a chrome lined bore that supposed to be good for 10,000 rounds I couldn't go wrong. It took me forever to find one. From what I've been told they haven't made any since the middle of last year. Finally found a little gun shop in Kentucky that had one on the shelf. I sent out payment yesterday so now I just have to hurry up and wait for it to show up. I definitely can see your point about the MOA vs MIL I'll have to look into that. I've always used badger ordinance rings are they still about the best thing going?
