  1. That’s a super nice K-80. I’m a little jealous even though I probably wouldn’t shoot it much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You guys should be careful talking about performance enhancing foods. If a MD catches wind of something like this you could get banned for life.... [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I already have one of those it works great as does the power custom speed hammer that I have. I just want to tinker with one for fun.
  4. I'm looking for an extra hammer for my 627-5. Im wanting to tinker with it and also want to keep the original one.I'm thinking that the one in the link is the correct one but I'm not sure. Any help is appreciated. http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/trigger-group-parts/hammer-parts/hammers/hammer-assembly-400-mim-frame-mounted-firing-pin-prod15004.aspx
  5. I use s&s castings 160grn coated. It doesn't have a cannelure but works good for me. I don't use a roll crimp but a fairly heavy taper crimp. I really like the profile on this bullet. I haven't done any extensive acuracy testing but they seem to do well enough for me from my mostly stock 627. Hope this helps
  6. Haven't shot anything but my 627 in 2016. Actually thinking about selling some of my other competition guns. USPSA, ICORE, Steel challenge. Haven't had tons of time and ICORE is new at my club and I have decided to support it. I agree with Bosshoss we need people to shoot/support revolver division and ICORE. Yesterday I was disappointed to find out one of the people who helps organize ICORE at my club was going to shoot USPSA at another club.
  7. I have the Lyman and like it a lot. I also use the Lyman trimmer and also have the neck turning head and use both with a cordless drill. It's a little time consuming to set up and process lots of brass but seems to be consistent and was the least expensive option I found at the time I was looking.
  8. DAA racer here. It's the same as the race master except doesn't have interchangeable blocks for other guns is plastic instead of aluminum and costs less. I ordered mine direct from DAA

Alright then, So do fly with mike's, or do you get mike's when you fly or is there a mike in your fly and if there's a mike in your fry do you measure it with a mic? I'm feeling crafty right at the moment but I'm sure someone will ruin it.
  10. I agree with the above posts. If you like it then that's what matters most. I don't think an extra inch of barrel is going to make much difference at all.
  11. Never had a problem like that but could see how it could happen
  12. just swaging has worked well for me

And all along I thought we were just doing a play on words thing. Oh well. Even the low flyers get over me :-)

Yep knew that but thanks. So do you fly on planes with pilots named mike? If you think sight is over rated. You might want to try spending a few days blindfolded. It just might change the way you see things. ;-)

I haven't thrown I mike yet, but if he gets in the way again I might think about it. I see whatever it is that I'm looking at ?
  16. There both about the same cost if your starting from scratch and depending on what routes you go for supporting gear and ammo. Both guns will probably need a little work to get them to be acceptable depending on your personal preferences. I have a 627 and like that I can hunt with it in 357 and would buy another over a 929. That's just personal preference though. I guess the long and short of it is, it doesn't matter unless you care about the caliber.
  17. Viagra and Cialis get your barrel pointed up and make it run a little longer. Not sure if those companies are giving a guarantee on extending the legenth? For that your going to need one of those supplements advertised on late night tv by Ron Jeremy. Seriously though getting a different gun is probably cheaper but there are plenty of smiths out there that will install a longer barrel for you. P.s. Don't ask how I know about Viagra and Cialis.
  18. Revo in uspsa is almost the most fun I've ever had with a gun. Only good hunting trips surpass it ?
  19. That attic is awesome looking. Just saying you could potentially turn that into the ultimate man cave HVAC would be necessary for a man cave though;-). Go for it. If it doesn't kill you it only makes you stronger, and I doubt it will kill you to load up there.
  20. If I were you I'd be looking for a browning or a beretta. Both are great guns and will last a lifetime or two if properly cared for. Look at models like the SX lines in browning and the 682's in beretta. Remember with both brands there are fancy models that aren't any better of a gun but cost a bunch more. Also check the bulletin board at local clubs that are clay oriented. I've seen some really good deals there in the past. Best of luck
  21. VP is the only one I've tried and it's not perfect but still faster than picking by hand.
