  1. Ive been told you have to modify the SV 140 tubes to keep rounds from passing past the tube and into the pad when using the 7mm pads.  Was told you had to tune the ribs near the bottom of the mag.  Anyone else experience this?

I consider these forums and the Classifieds a HUGE asset and don't want to see them go away. I'd be a paying annual member with no issue but $15/mo to list the few items I do wouldn't fit my model. If you could charge a transaction and/or % cost (kinda like PP), I'd be cool with that. I'm sure the difficulty is implementing such a scheme. It would be much easier to simply charge everyone a flat fee for access. Was $15/mo just throwing out a number or is that what you'd need to make it work?

Lets say there are 100 active classified users (i dont know what that number is as of right now there are 550 users online), thats 1500 a month.  If the hosting fees for this website are anywhere close to that then that should be resolved first.    I imagine the hosting costs are currently around $600 a month, but they could be reduced by moving to a lower cost platform.

In addition to banner ads, why not suggest that anyone who successfully sells something through the classifieds donates 1% or 0.5% of the sale to the forum. That's a fairly modest cost and doesn't disproportionately affect people who only sell the occasional small item. And is a method I have seen used on other free forums/sites that host classifieds.

    They have already tried that.

  4. Whats the most most efficient way to pull bullets at chrono?  I was thinking 3 or so single stage presses setup with the hornaday bullet pullers.  Or are the inertia hammers the way to go?

    Frankford pile driver?

  5. We ran chrono this weekend at our local match as a test run for our Level 2 match later this year.  I found that if someone fails chrono it doesn't actually change their power factor.  Is this something that scoring/stats does while the match is going on?

  6. I have a match set to open at 8PM this evening.  Its 5 PM in my time zone CST.  I have my club set for "Chicago" time which is CST.  When I look up the match it shows to be opening in 2 hours.  Do the matches run on a different time zone regardless of the club time zone setting?

  7. Ive been doing F45 classes for the last two months and I think its made a big difference in my shooting.  I can stay comfortably low in an aggressive shooting position for much longer.  I also dont find myself fading near the end of a long match like I did previously.

I think short sprints, core work and squats/lunges have done a lot for me in only a short amount of time.

The options show up in a dialog after you hit approve on a score. Give it a try....

The share option which is the only option after clicking approve, doesn't give an option to send the score to the competitor app so that the shooter would receive the notification on their app.  I have been able to get it to send an email with this option.  But trying to get 30 RO's to remember to do this every time over the course of 3 days could be a challenge.

  9. On the option on android to "share/print on approve results".  What are the share options?  Is there a way to have the scores automatically emailed to the competitor with this share option or is it only for printing?

Is the automatic notification on the competitor app still an IOS only feature?

    Thanks!

If I were going to put a Rhodesian wall in a stage or a port with a leaver or pull rope, or whatever that required 1 handed shooting, and I had to accommodate PCCs I would just add a low port or 2 or 3 that required being prone as an alternative, easy to do, legal and most likely everyone would find out that one handing a PCC is not a big deal.

    Thats a solid idea.

I have no problem carrying something and either shooting with it while holding it or setting it down. But 1 handed PCC is not safe. And penalizing the PCC guys with no alternative to 1 handed is not right. Should always be a safe way to shoot the stage for all.

    I agree

Another pcc hater heard from. Keep a good stock of cheese to go with your whine.

But Sarge and others are right. We aren't shooting against pistol shooters so I don't give a hoot what you design for a stage as long as it is safe and actually doable with a rifle. Although most of all that carry around stuff, etc. sounds more like idpa to me.

I am 100% against circus crap but having to carry something seems practical and can force people to shoot one handed.  PCC would have to either complete the task or place the item on the ground engage targets and then pick it back up and move.  There has been a pussification of USPSA with regards to one handed shooting which you see in IPSC almost at every match.  Its a skill that I feel should be put to the test in a major USPSA match.  I like the prop manipulation idea better than "last 3 targets must be engaged SHO".
