Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thank you everyone for your input. Once again the detail and information is very good thanks. I will get both of them, then see what suits me best. Thanks all!!
  2. I would like people opinion on what length of Hogue Chamber Release to fit to a S&W 625. The two models Hogue makes being Short and Long. This will be for a IPSC setup with bobbed hammer. My initial though is to go with the long, but would like people's opinion. Thanks
  3. Thanks for your input every one, some excellent points here. Yes I'm in New Zealand, so the reference to IPSC (only) - apologies for not mentioning that earlier. I have a good relationship with an US licensed exporter so will look to have him help in the process of procurement and customising before export. More comments and feedback welcome. Thanks
  4. Hi everyone, I’m wanting to give IPSC Revolver ago. The S&W 625 looks like the way to go given the 6 shot maximum before reload rule, and of course the 45 ACP easily makes 170 PF. For those of you already shooting the 625 in USPSA or IPSC I would like you views on what barrel length is ideal. I do appreciate finding a 625 in 5” is probably not easy, but I though I would ask the question before starting anything here. Will certainly be getting either APEX or TK Custom to do the tuning work on what option I send up going with. Thanks for your input.
  5. Mark, What is the internal & external diameter dimensions of your Carbon Arms 15" tubes. Thanks
  6. Currently using Hornady 55 FMJ; though currently shooting nothing longer than 200 yards. Thanks for the advice on 69SMK's, will have to load a few of those up for any future long stuff. Wind is hell on impact point so the 69ers will help!
  7. Thanks guy's. Am thinking of moving to 9mm major based on a heavily CZ shadow, thus is good to know the extent to which this option has been accommodated.
  8. Hi, can someone explain wait IPSC Open major power factor was set lower at 160 compared to the major power factor's of Standard, Classic, Revolver at 170? Am interested to know the reason. Thanks Glen
  9. Hi all, I'm coming back to the sport of IPSC after about 20 years away. Going straight into an open gun with CMore after having shot a compensated open sight gun (Bernardelli Practical VB in 9x21) all those years ago in my mid 20's. Am amazed my belt size is still the same! Looking forward to being a part of this forum. Cheers Glen
