Kahles K624i with SKMR 1 reticle?

Hi Gene, I have a K624i wthi MSR reticle and am very happy with it. It was my first scope purchase so I don't really have anything to compare it to. Rather than add more anecdotal and subjective experiences to the discussion I will point you towards the most extensive and scientific evaluation of various scopes I have come across. Hope you have some free time :-). <http goes here://>precisionrifleblog.com/2014/07/01/tactical-scopes-field-test-overview-rifle-scope-line-up/ Cheers, Oliver P.S. It wouldn't let me post the plain URL

    Magneto Chronograph

Works great! Easy setup/teardown. I'm glad I spent the money. I have the V2 version. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dlek0hlnmr1mt3i/IMG_2720.jpg?dl=0

Recommend a muzzle brake for 308 bolt.

The PRI quiet control brake works well and isn't too annoying at the range. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2367125087/pri-muzzle-brake-quiet-control-5-8-24-thread-ar-10-lr-308 Pictures of the brake installed and size compared to original flash suppressor. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xe92fefgwb3fq4v/AAACLIMEIiLT6Zd8Ho-JUYiSa?dl=0#/
  4. What RDA said. I went back through my load development notes and found that my Glock 34 wouldn't cycle even with 5.8gr and that was with the 15lbs reduced recoil spring.

Resizing issue with Redding die set

Hi Scott, I went through the same thing with my Redding die set for .40 S&W. I called Redding and essentially got the same answer as in the FAQ - the carbide ring inside the die is there to size to top part of the case. Tech support's suggestion was to back off the die (in my case 1 1/2 turns out from contact with the shell plate) until there are no more 'rings' around the bottom of the case. Redding does make a dual ring carbide sizer die for .40 S&W that should, theoretically, eliminate the problem. http://www.redding-reloading.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=124:dual-ring-carbide-dies Cheers, Oliver
