  5. What size front fiber optic did you buy? I've got a Dawson rear adjustable and front fiber optic height of .300 No issues adjusting the Dawson to exactly where I want. i have this rear sight might be different from yours https://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=1710000-1093363057 and i have a 100 wide and 335 tall fiber optic front sight i have turned the adjustment screw from all the way out to all the way down on the slide and did the same with another person . the change in rear sight elevation didnt change point of impact for neither of us. gun shoots a good group and shot good with the stock sight but the darn stock plastic one wouldnt stay put able to push out with index finger.
  6. Glad to see I'm not crazy I've turned that stupid screw seems like a million times and poi won't change alway about 5 in high at only 15 yards

  9. wanted to see if anyone here uses winchester wst powder and if they have a problem with the powder seeping through the gaps in the powder drop slide or if mine is broken. i have 3 different tool heads one with wst one with 231 and one with silhouette and the other two have no problems . every time i use the wst after every pull of the handle is seems like its a grain that goes flying of the powder drop slide .... its on a dillon xl650 if it makes a difference . thanks

    Carver products

what did you order? i got a red dot mount barrel and comp. he is waiting on the kkm barrel for the g34 right now if by chance you ordered the same thing did you enter the right email or check the spam folder? i got 2 automatic email right after i placed my order last week. also he responded to 4 or 5 of my email within a few hour maybe try again.
  12. who all has the sjc cmore mount? looking at getting the sideway mount one so i dont have to mess with the ejection port as well. how difficult is installing the bushing in the frame? does anyone have any picture of the install? and finished product? if i get this will i have problems if i remove it and shoot a idpa or something once every few month? i assume the bushing that you have to install in the frame is either flush or below flush in the frame right so no problem with it holding up in the holster thanks picture would be great of everything you have to mod to get it to work . i have a gen 4 if it makes a difference. thanks again

    glock 34 sights

what is wrong with me? i could get a nice group maybe 2inch max at 10yards with the factory g34 sights . i changed mine to the dawson fiberoptic 100w and 310 high front with the newer style bomar adjustable rears. now my group at 10 yards is like 4inch. also seems like no mater how much i adjust to bring poi and poa together it does work. im shooting right high. so i adjusted the rear sight the the right and down, is this the wrong way? reason i changed them was my stock ones are plastic and they were not even across the top . also i dont care for the rear sight picture i have bad eyes and the all black with f.o front helps out.
  14. id like to try out some local idpa matchs , what do i need as far as equipment? just a holster and mag pouch ? i would be using a gen 4 g34 if anyone can make recommendation for a good holster . preferably id like to get one that would be legal in other type of match as well uspsa ,ipsc . some what new to all of this and have a blast . its sole purpose would be for match . ive only done steel change matches so far so this should be a hole different experience i did a search and the thread that came up was from 2005 for g34 idpa holster so im sure new product have came out thanks for any recommendations and incite into idpa.
  15. using brand new dillon dies. no i do not feel the crimp die unless i have it cranked way down then the die gets a real firm grip on the case and take a fair amount of a pull on the handle to get it to release and when it does you can hear the shell plate pop up and flex and you can see it. this isnt present on any other station ... im thinking the die is milled to loose because where i have it almost all the way screwed into the toolhead maybe 1 or 2 thread above the locking jam nut on the die. while setting the dies up im running it as a turret press one piece of brass at a time to get a good feel of the press and what each spot feels like. everything else is silky smooth . never tried my lee factory crimp die. i figured i would ask to see if it sound like i was doing something wrong. will email or call dillon tomorrow and see what they say. i know one thing dillon seating die is pretty cool that it has two side for swc or rn which is nice. overall it very nice just bummed out having problem so close to getting it up and running. thanks for the suggestions. i try the lee fcd tomorrow which im sure will work as it should ...
  16. i just got my first progressive press and im trying to get it set up xl650 with dillon dies i have everything set up and ran some range brass threw it a few times checking measurement till i got it dialed in. but i cant seem to get the crimp to work. not sure if i have to much bell or if the crimp die is bad. my bell/ flare measures .475-.476 i follow dillon intruction to lower the handle and screw the die down till you feel it touching the anohter 1/2 turn well i do this and it make no difference flare is still there. i have turned it down about 5 complete turns i believe and it only crimps to ..473 - .474 and you can still feel the flare with your fingers . plus when you try and raise the handle the case is tight in the die and is flexing the shell plate. what im i doing wrong ive been reloading on the single stage lee press with lee dies and never had this sort of problem .
