I'm looking to take my rifle out to 600 yds but don't have a range within a few hours drive from me. Having a 300 yd range would it be feasible to use a target half the size just to see if I'd be at least able to hit it? I know bullet drop and windage would be different but Id like just a little confidence going hours away just to find out I dont have the right equipment or skill.

Bullet profile can affect oal allowed ,could be a shorter than your current load

Sent mine out to get micro slick coated. They work pretty good

I shot my first area match at 187,the guy who was loading for me has since purchased a chrony haha. Didnt notice too much power

I dont think its dirty,way less than 1k rounds through it.From what I was told the recoil spring and the striker spring work against each other so if you lower the rate on the recoil tension the striker spring may be too strong to fully set back.I noticed a few light strikes and a few no dimple primers but did hear/feel a click.Havent recieved the striker spring yet to test unfortunately.

Agreed. I just went from 124mg to 115mg and I like it a lot. Plus you get an extra 250 bullets (compared to 124s). Coated bullets are cheaper, but I'm just too lazy to clean the comp after every match. +1 on the laziness stated above haha.

+1 for Ibejiheads,seem to run a little faster than jacketed,so you can run less powder

Do you guys use the dot (fiber optic bead ) or the top line of the front and rear sight combined as you reference point? On harder shots I've been lining the sights up and using the tops as my point of aim but should I adjust it so my fiber optic bead is what im using ?

I have the tape and I like it.Just prep the surface with either very well so you have good adhesion.Dont ask why I know haha

I'm waiting for a reduced power striker spring for my 9mm 5.25.I had a number of ftf's due to light/no strikes with the 14lb recoil spring

Has anyone needed the reduced power striker spring? I started getting failure to fires due to not setting the striker back far enough when I went to a 14lb recoil spring I'm my 9mm 5.25.

The trigger that the PRP kit comes with is a factory springfield piece , so at least in uspsa is legal for production ,but I don't shoot idpa so I'm not sure
