  1. I have a POF P308 with a UBR. You should use the standard DPMS 308 carbine buffer. With the heavier buffers, the brass stays in the chamber longer, allowing it to cool down and easier to extract. This extends the life of the extractor and smooths the cycling. Some say that it reduces recoil also. Those are the theories, but theory and practice are two different things. Since this is a hobby, you could always try a heavier buffer. If your bass is being ejected at or around the 3 o'clock position. I would not worry about it. And you could always just adjust the gas.
  2. Thanks guys, Just asking, be mulling over my next scope for a while now. Most likely be going with a Leupold Mark 4 1.5-5.
  3. Be lurking for a while and I don't really see anyone using them. For my low power Scopes, I have an ACOG 3.5, Leupold VX-R 1.5-4, and an AuccPoint 1-4. In my experience, the ACOG has a better FOV, Clearer, and a more forgiving eye relief. Is it the magnification?
  4. What do you guys think about this VX-6 over the Mark 4 1.5x5 20mm or the Trijicon Accupoint 1x4 24mm? I've had the mark 4 on my wish list for a year now but I can't imagine the VX-6 is worth $700 more.
  5. Glad to see it's running for you now. I'm planning to do the same set up, so I was wondering what fixed it for you? Was it the clamp and or cutting the spring to 12 inches. Did you turn the tube back down?
