  1. I'm building a pcc and looking for an affordable optic. My experience in red dot is only C-more slide ride 6moa and Leopold dpp 7.5moa on my pistols. Holosun users, is 2moa form their micro red dot bright enough to see even in bright daylight?
  2. It happened to me at my local match this past week. The slide locked while there are still rounds in the mag. Not on the last round, or second to the last. It happened on the 6th and (only) 5th round in. What could be the cause? My mags are EAA/Tanfo 10-rounders and I load 147gr RN Blue Bullets to 1.125" Thank you
  3. I use my middle finger. I tried with OS mag release but inadvertently drop the mags when I re-grip the pistol so I stayed with stock mag release.

(3)170 and (1)140 is all I own. I said to myself I would just go all big sticks but lately, I have been loving the 140 on stages that I need a reload.
  5. Racemaster, Alpha X, any DAA magnetic is good to go.
  6. CGW disco is satin finish right? I just mirror finished the face of the wing and maybe 5 passes of 1200grit on the edge.
  7. I finally figured it out. Called Dave from CGW about my DA and more importanly, my double reset. I had to tune the trigger bar lifter spring: bare touching on the left side and 2-3mm on the right side when both out of its tracks. Now I only have the loud and tacticle reset at the fpb distance. On DA I just lighty touched the disco wing with 1200grit plus polish. Now it drops the hammer in DA all the time. Now the trigger is nice and sweet! Just got to mill my DPP on the slide and try out CO.
  8. I load Xtreme 180gr FP to 1.135 OAL on my TS
  9. I got a chance to observe the gun. I have an ever so lighlty play on the sear cage towards the back (closest to the hammer). If I put a constant downward pressure on the back of the cage, DA drops the hammer all the time. On the rouge uber short reset, I observed that the sear will drop but the fpb will not lift. If the push forward to the loud and tactile reset, both sear and fpb will move. Why is there a rouge reset though were it will drop the sear but wouldnt lift the fpb lifter? The trigger bar lifter spring seems to be in the groove.
  10. 1. I have everything except the adjustable sear. I've fitted a sear/safety off a Tactical Sport so I did away with the adjustable sear. Yes, it is still stock trigger. It's not obvious, but the firing retaining pin is indeed 12'o clock, gap is facing topside. 2. I'm using Cajun's lifter 3. I'm sure the screw holding the trigger bar/mag release is pretty secure. I am not sure if the trigger bar spring is squarely riding the trigger bar, how can you check/feel if its square? I fitted the safety to the sear instead of the other way around because I don't want to disassemble the cage and reinstall the lifter and its tiny l-spring. I know its opposite of what's recommended but the safety still works as advertised.
  11. Thank you. I didn't polish the disco cause I thought that Cajun's was shiny already and left it as is. I'll open it up and polish again
  12. I just finished a trigger job on my sp01 I'm planning to play in CO. I pretty much "Cajunized" mine minus the combat trigger. -Sometimes my hammer will not fall whem I pull the trigger in DA, especially when I pull slowly and deliberatly. Why is that? -When I cock the hammer for SA, pull the trigger and rack the slide, it has a loud and very tacticle reset. And this reset distance is what I would expect from a fpb cz. But waaay before that, there is a very faint reset that I could pull the trigger with. This very short reset is what I see in Shadow CZ's which are very short. And there is no take up on this faint reset, I'm at the wall aready and then it drops the hammer. I'm dumbfounded and thinking about safety too. -Lastly, more on learning, why did I have fit the sear to the safety when I used the original sear that came with the gun? I was lazy to take out the sear from its cage so I just worked on the safety and it worked. I did have take a good chunk from the safety to engage the sear. Here' the vid on the DA pull And here's for the reset Thank you. Aside from these, the trigger is amaizing; about 7lb on DA and 2lbs on SA. If that uber short reset is okay and safe, I'll take it!
  13. I'm trying to understand this part on a Stock 2; the hammer looking part with a spring. What does it do? Could this part be equivalent to this part on a CZ75? Stock 2 looks similar to a CZ75 except for the hammer spring/strut, mag release, and FPB. Speaking of mag release, it looks similar to a 1911/2011 mag release. Is there a reduced power spring for the mag release that can be bought similar to the 1911? Helping out my bro-in-law with his Stock 2.Thank you.
  14. 4.1gr Titegroup Win SPP 1.120" COL 135pf at Area 1. I could have dialed it back down but it way my first Area match.
  15. You're doing it right; don't shoot till dry. Two 20rd mags give you a lot of flexibility where you change mag on a long stage.
  16. Yup yup! Whats great with Blue Bullets is that it states its a 147gr bullet profile but in actuality it weighs 150gr; extra insurance on top of the 130pf.
  17. Opps! My bad, I meant 3.6gr. I was quite surprised that the WST load I brought was pleasantly soft (130pf). In fact, it was softer than the other loads I brought; Titegroup @ 3.1 and 3.2 (w/ Berrys 147gr) at the same COL. Granted, the TG loads were around 135/140pf respectively). Accuracy? It was accurate enough at 10 yards. I think I got good load coming along with WST.
  18. I was surprised when I popped the WST open; powders' gray! Powder's fluffy and light compared to TG. Loaded 4.6gr on Blue Bullets 147gr at 1.135"COL. I'll post my chrono results later.
  19. Thanks for the list, 4n2!
  20. Thanks for pointing the temp sensitivity rowdy. It's pretty mild here in the Bay Area but we do start matches at ~60ish F in the morning and end up at around 90F in the afternoon. I just though of trying some thing out other than my go to Titegroup. I'll load for development but still use Titegroup this weekend. Let me see if WST is accurate for my gun. Memphis, thanks for the comprehensive table with WST!
  21. Picked up a # of WST to test out for my Production and CO pistols. I'm planing to load to 1.130-1.140 OAL with Blue Bullets 147gr. I've tried to do a search but not a whole lot of info on the WST. Right now I'm planning to do a ladder test from 3.4-3.6gr with 0.1gr increments. Does that sound about right? How to you like WST for Production? I've only used Titegroup (and Bullseye, sparsely) for 9mm Production. How does WST compare to Titegroup? Thanks
  22. Just checking with you guys; is there a right side up for the firing pin spring?
  23. I have 3 170 9mm MBX mags for about a year now. In a rare occurrence that a round will go under the follower. Otherwise all 3 works flawlessly.
  24. Fellow leftie here and I have no problems with the 2011 safety; I ride the safety as normal. The only time I've had a problem with the safety is when I botch a reload and got startled. My thumb migrated under the safety and inadvertently flick it to safe. From your description, that the only thing I could think of the safety making the trigger 'freeze'.
