Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Wow Garmil, that is a good price. Will be ordering a couple k for testing and local matches. Thanks again.
  2. Just checked out Precision Delta, really nice bullets but kind of pricey. I didn't see the discount for 2000 bullets, but unless substantial they would still be kind of expensive. Maybe I'll use them for bigger matches. Thanks for letting me know about them.
  3. Just checked the website and you are right, heavy plate on HP and HPCB, others bullets have standard plating. Not much extra money to get the hollow point as opposed to the round nose. Will order a couple of boxes for testing, thanks for the tip on heavy plating.
  4. Glk21C, I will start at 1.160 and go up/down as needed to fit the magazine or until the bullet hits the rifling. Garmil, I thought all X-treme bullets are heavy plate. I guess 124's are iffy at IPSC Major? Thanks for all the replies, please keep the info flowing. Right now I will be starting with 6.4grn of AutoComp, in a new Starline case with small rifle primers.
  5. Yes, it's a small frame gun. Thanks for the info. I will load as long as my magazines allow.
  6. Hope this has not been beaten to death, but couldn't find the information with a search. I will be using X-treme 124 grain copper plated bullets over 6.7 grains of Auto Comp. Thanks in advance.
  7. Wow, really appreciate the replies. Much to think about. Thanks, Ross
  8. Thanks for the replies. I saw someone at the range this week who was teaching another shooter to double tap. He taught that a double tap was strictly rhythm, see the first shot and then break the second shot as fast as you can. If the second shot went high you should shoot a little slower. If the second shot of a double tap goes low you should break the second shot sooner. He teaches that you do not need to see the sights at all on the second shot of a double tap. I thought that this maybe a advanced shooting technique, thanks for giving me the correct information! Thanks, Ross
  9. Dual recoil spring assemblies allowed, but how about the triple spring in the DPM? Thanks, Ross
  10. Yes, I am looking for a sight for my Browning Buckmark. Thanks for the replies, I feel more at ease ordering one of these Bushnells.
  11. Thanks for the reply. My budget is around $100 for a red dot scope. It will be used for Steel Challenge, 22lr division, as well as assorted club matches. I just don't know if I should get a Tasco pdp3 or this Bushnell.
  12. I would like to try the Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 Red Dot Sight. Would it slow a shooter down compared to a 30mm scope? Thanks, Ross
