We shoot the 1st and 4th saturdays in Las Cruces. We usually have around 35 shooters, 4 stages with a classifier. Set up at 8am and start around 9:30.

If you shoot a Glock now and like it, I'd just shoot a 35 for Limited class. It won't be a budget buster and will suit you fine for many years.

Just wait until you step onto a sharp rock. We have a lot of lateral movement, explosive entry and exit maneuvers in action sports. I would advise more robust shoes. Merrels and Keens!

Mine runs fine with brass cased ammo. it doesn't run with the Hornady steel cased ammo. It is just too sticky. It did seem to have issues with Hornady 75 gr ammo and some 69 gr ammo. I had a few stoppages after 10 rounds, then ran fine after that.

You need longer especially if you are getting those nose dives. 1.180 or longer.

If the new job will give you new skills and make you more marketable, do it. If you don't want that, then stay put. As i always tell people, "Not everyone gets to be an astronaut."

I just picked up a Hogan with a 20" barrel. Nice 4lb trigger and light at 7.25lbs not including the optic. It would make a great 308 3 gunner.

I had this when i picked up powerlifting again after 10 years away. that and shooting 1k rounds per week were just too much. I work on shoulder, bicep, tricep, forearm stretching. I don't use straps when lifting so i keep by grip strength up. this takes months to go away, and will flare up from time to time.

You need to start aggressive grip strengthening, active and passive stretching. Avoid steroid injections as they do little to no good for this problem. buy some handballs, or those stress reliever balls and go to work. Or buy the grippers and get started. You also need to work on the extensors, (they bring your hand back) those are the ones that are weak and thus create this problem. Get a large plastic jar something your hand can fit into, fill it with sand, splay your fingers out and pull up hold and hold for as long as you can. load more sand as you get stronger. ice, ice, ice, ice. 3-4 times per day. stretching, pull you hand and fingers back, or push against a wall. do a search for more stretches, my carpal tunnel is acting up.

Can anyone explain Tactical Heavy? I can use an optic on my 308. i can shoot my 2011 .40. I can shoot a semiauto 12 gauge. I read and reread the rules and looked at IMGA rules, none which list tactical heavy.

what kink of tutorial is there for the sketchup? It seems very confusing.

If i'm shooting a single stack only match, you have to go with major to avoid the point loss. If i'm shooting a regular uspsa match along with Limited, Open shooters, i.e., long field courses, going minor and having the extra rounds will help you. Typically state, sectional or area matches tend to have medium to long field courses and very few arrays that are single stack friendly even with the 8 round arrays that uspsa wants. for IDPA, 9mm is the only solution that makes sense.

I look at his materials just to see his bad toupee. His stuff is out of date and he just seems to rehash it in some other form.

Air gun away, as long as you and your squad mates get the steel reset and targets taped.

Wells Fargo sucks. I used to have a line of credit with them with my business. I paid it off quickly...they enjoyed tacking multiple fees to the LOC.

You get a incredibly awesome journal with your IDPA membership!!!!! Our local clubs here don't seem to enforce the rule, I think their turnouts would be less. The only people who seemed to get amped up by this issue are the IDPA purists. I say live and let live.

I bought a dan wesson bobbed 45acp a while back...wish i didn't get rid of it for carry! It was right around 1K and has ed brown components, very well made.
