  1. my IDPA experience, they never shake your belt. The holds mags upside down rule is more a rule to keep people honest, no one has ever checked mine at a local match. those should be legit, I ran a similar bladetech model back in the day.
  2. race equipment in a race...... now that is just crazy talk. i say illegal.
  3. learning curve on load 2 or load 4 ( tac com quad load) is almost the same. i think learning traditional load for confined space ( car, barricade, etc) is worth learning, but quad load is the only way to fly for a wide open stage. also a positive, quad load can be learned in about an hour, and ninja quick in about 4. traditional 1-4, about 10,000 reps. go straight to quad load, load 2s feel dumb in short order.
  4. Taccom quad load is the heat if you can grab 2 deep on shells. beats the pants off my other brand load 2 system.
  5. A lesson we must all apparently learn at USPSA. nothing worse than a production reload to +2.
  6. quarter is what, a 1/4 MOA tgt at 500? that is some shooting, and the gun and bullets to match.
  7. I use a crossbreed for EDC G23, and I love it. really spreads the weight out, you forget it is there.
  8. I shot Jeff C's over the weekend, I think I am in love. Soon as he leaves his Toyota unlocked........
  9. because no one carries Tungsten in a street gun, that would be silly.....
  10. Production/Limited- Safariland no retention. what I gain from a World Shoot or Ghost, I lose in repetition between classes. 3 Gun- Safariland ALS, because retention will get you sent home. ALS is almost as fast out of the gate, and holds your gun no matter what you do.
  11. an unnamed high end shooter in our squad at tarheel last week forgot to put shotshells in his caddies for a mandatory reload multi gun stage. he took 35 seconds in penalties, we all felt like dirt for not checking him. 8 shooters later, someone else did the same thing! Same stage! check your kit in the walk through, or have a buddy check you. sounds like a rookie mistake, but it happens if you don't pay attention.
  12. i think something broke
  13. Match was awesome, as usual. Nice to only have to drive an hour for a major too!
