Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Registration 8am-9am; squading & safety briefing 9am; shooting 9:30 April 24th May 15th June 12th July 17th August 28th September 18th http://www.beckleygunclub.com/match-info/3-gun/schedule/
  2. Punch the pin from the half-blind side. Remember to deburr the extractor slot.
  3. A +5 TACCOM tube sits very near flush on my M3K.
  4. Buy a stripped lower. It is transferred as "other" so you are allowed to posses a barrel less than 16". When you get your stamp you can affix a rifle stock. Once you have an SBR lower you can have as many short uppers as you like. You don't want to get into a situation where you have more rifle lowers than 16" uppers to go on them. For your first SBR you may want to stick with a 10.3-11.5 carbine upper as those are known quantities to start with. This is my 10.5. Aero Precision barrel and BCG. DPMS A2 upper, Magpul MOE SL stock and handguard, MIAD grip. This rifle has run 100% with LC M855 and my 2500fps 55gr reloads.
  5. I put the Taccom tube on my M3K and it has worked well. Machining is top quality and the price/service are great. I like the fact that if I want to add more rounds to my +5 I can just buy an inexpensive extension.
  6. Here is my Taccom stage saver mounted to my M3K I used to flat washers with 40% of the diameter ground off of one side to fill the space under the front screw. It is solid.
  7. Thanks! We had a record turnout for the GSSF matches this year. And the good news is the road into the club had some patch work done this week!
  8. A Fund raiser USPSA style pistol match is scheduled on Sunday, November 22, 2015, starting at 0900 hours. Match entry fee is $30.00. The match is to benefit Senior Trooper Jeff Morris, West Virginia State Police. He has been off work for several weeks and it is not clear when he can return to work. The match is open to all who want to compete/participate. Any questions call me at (304) 952-4010. James Long https://m.facebook.com/BGC3GUN
  9. I don't let my rotor go through 100% of its travel, maybe 96%. The measure should be stopping on the travel limiting bar with the rotor having a very small amount of free play at that point.
  10. My Hornady AP has been great. I load .40, .38, .30 Carbine, and .223REM on it. I can go from loading one chambering to another in less than 5 minutes. I've never run a Dillon but I have drooled over them if that counts. I wanted auto index and the price difference between the AP and the 650 sealed it for me.
  11. The Berry's worked fine for me but they are expensive for what you get. I just went through 500 rounds of the Blue Bullets 180gr FPs and they worked great at a much cheaper price. I am stocked up with Rocky Mountain Reloading 180gr FPs (plated) because they will work in my bullet feeder.
  12. Thanks for the positive comment.. It is a shame that some of the info on the Interwebs is so scattered about. I have another idea about how to really "fix" the APs indexing, but it will take some time to get it figured out.
