  1. Thanx so much. I appreciate your insight and info. I think for what I would be doing the gun would be I just fine. I wander though, if the msrp is going to be $3999, what may we see the actual price winding up as? I realize it possible to sell at msrp as well. '
  2. What do y'all think about the new DVC Omni that's coming out? Would y'all purchase one, or go with Atlas or Tommy Guns etc..? Or should I ask, is their too of the line guns gtg? Reason I ask, is because I loved watching the vids of the Omni. Hardly any recoil at all, with the Comp it has. And I really want one. But, for that kind of money, ya want right the 1st time and every time. At best it's a crap shoot?
  3. I'm really enjoying my 1911 Apeiro. http://i.imgur.com/QlDSnUJ.jpg
  4. Good deal. Thanx guys! I knew something was amiss.
  5. Here's the flgr,spring,and follower http://i.imgur.com/MCOwPau.jpg
  6. Don't know what I was thinking. That didn't work. The Apieir is a bull barrel. No bushing. Nothing to prevent the follower from coming out. Just saw your post. I apologize. I must be doing something wrong then.
  7. Rut roh..... Dang Furrly, lemme try that ole buddy. That just might be the ticket.
  8. Maybe I should ask, what other Apeiro owners did to replace the recoil master guide rod.
  9. Hi guys, I recently got a new STI Apeiro 1911. Evidently, STI decided to do a special run of the single stacks. At any rate, I wanna go to a 1 piece flgr. So, I got on the net and ordered an egw guide rod and a Wolff 13 pound spring. Bearing in mind, the 1911 Apeiro came with a recoil master. No bushing. At any rate, I cannot get it to work. After putting the spring on the guide rod, then compressing the spring with the follower, I then captured the compressed spring with a paper clip. At this point, I put the slide on the frame and insert the slide stop. Problem is the slide stop will not go back to the half moon slot. After trying 2 times, both times took so much pressure that each paper clip broke and the follower shoots across the room along with the paper clip. Did I order the wrong parts, or do I need more? I've heard of other members with Apeiros that opted for the one piece guide rod. Maybe it being a 1911 instead of a 2011 is a difference? I sure would appreciate any help I can get fellas. Thanx a bushel in advance.

Hi guys, I have an Apeiro, a 1911 Apeiro to be exact. At any rate, I want to go to a 1 piece guide rod with 13 pound spring. So, I ordered an egw guide rod with the hole/follower, and a Wolff 13 pound spring. But, I cannot get it to work. I put the spring on the guide rod, then compressed the spring with the follower, then captured the compressed spring with a paper clip. Where I'm running into trouble is putting the slide stop back in. So, I can get the slide stop back in initially. But, the slide will not go back to the half moon slot. The 2 times I tried it, it took so much force that I broke both paper clips, and the follower goes flying into the air, along with the paper clip. My 1911 Apeiro is in .45ACP. What am I doing wrong? Or should I need to use a reverse plug. My Apeiro with the current recoil master has no bushing.
  11. Those grips are wicked! Congrats man. I too, am waiting on blade tech as well.
