Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I failed the IQ test on this one... I was so caught up looking at "fading" that I missed the other. Stare... look down at the comments... "Ok, there's definitely something there"... stare a bit more. It's like one of those "hidding picture" things where when you finally see it you actually physically jump.
  2. Just finished sorting my first 1500 9mm cases (first timer) and it wasn't as bad as I feared. Along the way I found some "extras": 42 .380s 2 Tokarevs 1 Makarovs 1 .357 SIG 3 22 LRs (hiding in cases) 2 Steel cases One case however is giving me pause because, even though I found it, I could easily see myself missing it, and it's the most concerning of all: Does anyone have a suggestion on how best I should look for this sort of problem? The only thing I can think of is rolling every one of them between my fingers "one revolution" to see the whole of the case, but hopefully there's an easier way? Just I'm doubtful just upending them and inspecting would have found this...
  3. 6+ Hours... nothing is close to us up here (L.A. - Lower Alabama) But it'll be worth a road trip.
  4. Specifically Panama City, FL. I was brought to the site by the Dillon connection, and inspired to join by the emphasis on competition shooting. I had bought a Colt Series 80 in the mid 80s with the idea of competing, but it never came to fruition (a teenager, my interests were changing fast back then), but recently bought a couple of Glocks with the idea of competing in GSSF. The interest in reloading came soon on the heals of those thoughts, and so we come full circle. Thanks for building this community; I'm already gaining insight and I'm confident it'll only get better. I'm mostly lurking for now as I absorb info.
