  1. Thanks much! I've got a couple thousand rounds through it and it's been just awesome. I can hit 6" plates at 100 yards with slugs. That rear sight post is a big help.
  2. I followed Alma's recommendation and went with the Hiperfire 24E.
  3. I actually wrote an article about the show: http://thrumylens.org/featured/are-you-listening-to-the-3-gun-show-podcast/
  4. They aren't bad at all...except for the price. Hopefully that will come down, and we'll get some options from them (translucent or window would be nice). I've been testing a couple with no issues so far.
  5. Thanks a lot for the responses here - I was hesitant to ask what many might see as a stupid question.
  6. I just got some Ben Stoeger practice targets and was curious if anyone had come up with any innovative ways to put them up on walls that didn't require tape (which I don't think will work well)?
  7. Thanks for the recommendations guys - I ordered a red hill tactical. [emoji1303] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I'm curious what holsters the P320 folks are using? I'm going to be running a P320 in 3 Gun.
  9. This will have to hold me until SIG starts shipping P320 RX Exchange Kits.
  10. Hi - just wondering if someone can recommend a service for stippling the grip module on a SIG P320 Compact?
  11. Any updates? I"ll be at the Sig Sauer Academy all next week in training classes. I may try and order one while I'm there.
  12. I've found the AIPSC Timer app works really well for dry fire/Par times. I use Shot Timer at the range. Both apps seem to work MUCH better on my iPad Pro vs. my iPhone 6s. I'm not sure why.
  13. I decided to have a little fun in the photo studio on this rainy Sunday afternoon. This is my current 3 Gun Team...at least until my new Colt Competition CRP-18 ships out.
  14. Thanks. Glad there are some nice, helpful posters here to offset the ones that aren't. I did end up buying directly from MGM and saved a couple of bucks due to being an NRA Instructor. The model you linked to is actually the wrong model - I ordered it and returned the wrong model TWICE from Amazon. It's an easy mistake to make.
  15. That looks perfect! Well done! Sent from my iPad Pro using Tapatalk

  17. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding! That's the answer I was looking for. It explains not only my situation, but the others I'm looking at. Four qualifiers in the same calendar year. Thanks so much!
  18. Perhaps (and I too am just spitballing here) if you have nothing valuable to add you shouldn't post? I didn't anticipate this to be so difficult a question to answer.
  19. Much, much harder than I expected. Yes I'm shooting at a 3GN affiliated club, yes I'm a 3GN member, and yes I can see my scores.
  20. Wow. This is harder than I expected. Yes I'm shooting at a 3GN affiliated club, and yes I'm a 3GN member.
  21. OK, I finally found the following on the 3GN site (was tricky to locate): Shooters will be divided by FIREARMS division. Divisions are as follows: Unlimited (U), Factory (FA), Practical (P), Heavy Sport (HS), Heavy Optics (HO), Unlimited PCR (UPCR), Optics PCR (OPCR), Irons PCR (IPCR), Unlimited 22 (U22), Practical 22 (P22), and Factory 22 (FA22). 3GN has implemented a ranking system so that shooters can determine where they rank amongst other shooters across the country and have a goal to move toward. Each division will be divided into 6 classes. A shooter's class will be determined by the score of the first Classifier Stage shot by the club member. After shooting more than 4 unique classifiers, only the top 4 scores will contribute to the shooters ranking and overall points. It is through this method that a shooter will move up through the classes. (Updated 3/25/2016) Percentages are listed below: Pro 95-100% Semi-Pro 84-94.99% Expert 75-84.99% High Marksman 60-74.99% Marksman 40-59.99% Amateur 2-39.99% Based on the above, I'm still not clear. It states "A shooter's class will be determined by the score of the first Classifier Stage shot by the club member." I've shot a Classifier Stage, so why don't I have a classification? This also doesn't explain why I've looked up friends and other shooters who have shot more than four Classifier Stages and STILL don't have a classification?
  22. That link doesn't seem to work: "The page you've requested could not be located, or is unavailable at this time." Perhaps I wasn't clear. I'm trying to determine what it takes to get a 3GN classification. I realize it isn't necessary to have a classification to shoot in a match. -John
