  3. Reset the press for 40 and sometimes the powder drop funnel lines up perfectly and sometimes it creases the brass. Everything looks good as far as centering in the powder drop/primer station and all other stations are fine. Could the powder drop funnel be off? Any other ideas? 10. At this point in my "shooting career", scores are secondary to going out with friends and shooting. It is just difficult to be in charge of everything and everyone for 6+ stages (and 3+hours) and shooting for decent score. Next match, we will divide the limited labor pool better and all will be well...............
  11. I had help early on, but he had to leave mid-match......downhill from there..........
  12. Just RO'd a local match and had very little help on my squad. My home club, but we did not divide the workload equally. Shot the worst match in a while due to all the distractions........

  15. I am available for questions also. A practicing Optometrist and shooter for 28 years. I agree that all shooters are different. Age, prescription and type of gun are all factors in the final Rx. As stated above, consult an eye doctor who is also a shooter for best results.... Stewart
  16. As an eye doctor, I see many patients (over 40) with this issue. I usually give them 2 prescriptions. For red dot sights we use the full distance Rx because, as the previous poster correctly noted, the red dot is superimposed on the target. For iron sights, I use a modified Rx. Not quite distance, but not quite near. I have developed a Rx that will keep the front sight clear as well as the target. I also have shooters bring in their particular pistols, as the barrel length make a big difference on the Rx. Hope this helps. Stewart
  17. Just purchased this holster. Works well but I cannot get the safety switch to engage without pushing the safety bar ,with he detent ball, down to engage first. Any thoughts.......? Thanks
  18. Anyone load things like Ibiji (sp?) in an open gun. What does the coated bullets do with major power factor loads and barrels? Currently use 124 JHP PD and VV 3N38 thanks
