  1. infinity, bar stock goes in one end. pieces of art come out the other. https://sviguns.com/
  2. i remember a young marine stopping by SVI and telling Sandy he could win camp perry if he had a good gun. so Sandy went and built his first bulls eye gun. the guy won camp perry with it. not bad for his first try.
  3. get someone to video you as you shoot. i was trying to teach a friend of mine to speed up and he really thought he was running when in fact it was not much more than a lope. i would run from station to station with the timer and him following along. with me yelling pick up the pace.
  4. i have held some pretty high dollar infinitys, lots of engraving. they will build you what ever you want, just bring the check book. if you can think it, Brandon will help you apply it to steel.
  5. I think ever one should have a suppressor. There is no need for all that noise. This coming from a guy shooting an open gun
  6. sandy has made more than a few of them at infinity
  7. and i remember shooting my para 38 super and every one commenting how it was too heavy. and how the new strayer tripp double stacks shot so much better. i guess everything come full circle.
  8. i should be at a match right now, but i am stuck here at work. i think it has been 20 years since i shot my last one.
  9. the delta was in another safe, i just forgot i had moved stuff around. i lost a colt m4 for about a month once. it had me scared to death. i found it in my closet a month later. my wife knows all my combos on the safes. i have finally got her to understand that guns are an investment. i lost a bunch of money in the stock market a few years ago, everything in the safe went up. so no need to sneak in new aquisitions. but it seems i only find good deals on hunting rifles anymore.
  10. Your not even close to my gathering league. Beside enough guns to knock off a bannana republic. Enough rock crawling and mud trucks, to outfit my whole neighborhood. Plus the Harley, and a hundred unfinished projects. I have a keeper of a wife. I was trying to find a delta elite the other day and started pulling some stuff out of the safe.
  11. i just used to run some 115s at major when the comp got all fouled up. that usally cleaned the junk out.
  12. i remember when IDPA was started. they gave all the reasons you here today on why they quit ipsc and went to idpa. the truth is they couldn't win in uspsa and started something else, which the best uspsa shooters still went over and won. i like shooting as much as anyone. i do find IDPA boring at best, but still better than golf.
  13. i went to my first match and was hooked. i went to another match 3 days later and got DQ . put one about a foot in front of me. i swore on the way home i was going to practice dry fire drills till i had mastered it. my first card was a C, two weeks later i got a A and i missed master 3 months later by half a point or so. made it next go around. almost had a gm card, but then i ran out of time and money. i was layed off and going to school 30 hours or so a week, shooting 700 or so rounds on wensday evening and a couple of matches on the weekend. i just picked up watching the shooters around me. you have a lot more options to learn real well from classes and dvds. plus you wount waste near as much money on ammo doing things the wrong way. i wish i could had stuck with it longer but finances just didnt have the room. i had to start working 12 hr days 7 days a week and i just faded away from it. now my kids are grown and i am really trying to see which of my current hobbies i can scale back to fit shooting in.
  14. svi for me, but sandy is a friend of mine. but i do not know of anyone who makes and uses better parts.
  15. I wish I had seen this sooner, I'm looking for a excuse to get back into shooting
