  2. Yes, it's bridging. More than likely due to the small case neck. I never have that issue when loading 308. I switched to H335 for 223, and totally solved that issue.
  3. I use the Dillon powder checks on all 10 cals that I load for. They all work just fine for me.
  4. Whatever floats yer boat. I've always viewed that device as a solution, looking for a problem..
  5. Press Monitor II is not a round counter. It counts handle strokes. Nevertheless, there are several electronic devices that actually count loaded rounds. Some are triggered by a completed round in the last station, and I've seen a few that are triggered when a completed round enters the ejection chute.
  6. Depends on how well you wish to clean your brass. I use the Hornday 7L. Cleans brass good. Cleans firearm parts great. Very quite. If you're looking for a mirror shine on your brass, and spotless primer pockets ultra sonic is not the way to go. If you're looking to clean brass *good enough* for reloading, they work fine.
  7. $180.00 plus shipping. LOL Here is my $10.00 Bore Camera (from eBay) looking through a power die in my 650. Camera is plugged into a USB port on ad old, seldom used old netbook. I'll be sticking with the Dillon Powder Check. But what ever trips ya trigger...
  8. 3 replies, and yet none address my question. Sorry I wasted my time. Moderator, feel free to close this thread.
  9. Kind of difficult to purchase directly from Dillon when they are out of stock.
  10. I've been a Dillon customer since the early 90's, love the products, but this has now happened twice too me in the past 18 months. #1. Purchased new CV-2001 from a Dillon Dealer in Idaho. Dillon in AZ was out of stock at the time. CV-2001 arrived in sealed box, but was very used and nasty, but with a new motor. Contacted dealer, returned on dealers dime. No issues. #2. Last week, purchased 2 RF100's from a dealer in Virginia. Purchased from that dealer due to one day shipping to my location. Both were in sealed, stapled boxes. One was apparently a repaired unit where the threads in the base of the bowl assembly had been stripped. Mounting hole had been re-drilled to a larger size, re-tapped, and a heli-coil was installed. It didn't hold. When I opened the box, the bowl assembly had separated from the main shaft, and the heli-coil had pulled out of the newly re-tapped hole. The only thing keeping the bowl attached to the main shaft were the 2 electrical connections. Spoke to CS (Peter) at Dillon. Was told they don't sell refurbs, or do repairs in this manner. Returned to Dillon on their dime, and awaiting a new RF100 to arrive. Has anyone else experienced this?
  11. They do have good CS. They sent me two new primer trays for my very well used Vibra Primes, at no charge!
  12. Called today about a damaged RF100. #28 in-line. 25 minute wait.
  13. Indexing ball spring mod, and bearing kit did the trick for me.
  14. When I first setup my 650, I had some issues ejecting 223's. Work on getting the ejector wire down closer to the shell-plate at the ejection point. Mine is now only a few thousandths above the shell-plate (at the ejection point) works flawlessly. Just keep taking a little off the end that inserts down into the machine frame. Also put a dab of lube on the wire where the ejection wire would make contact with the case.
  15. Ejector wire is too high. File a very small amount from the end that fits into the press frame. Just a little! Keep tweaking. You will find the sweet spot.
