Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. I think with the success of the Sig Legion and TXG grip module that it will come sometime soon. Possibly on an STI Staccato due to its popularity in the carry and tactical world? I wonder if STI has anything in the works? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I agree with you. I have tried both and wound up going back to the LOK palm swells. I really like the Hennings, if they were only a little thicker. I prefer the less pronounced palm swell that they have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Great match Jammer. The staff did a great job and the facilities were top notch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I believe the provided screws from Vortex were M3x6mm. I used M3x5mm on my Glock MOS as the 6mm bottomed out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. For Production the DAA racers are great. Very slim mount to the belt compared to the Ghost 360. I also have Racemasters, the adjustment is good for limited/open but you won’t need all of the adjustment options for production. I found getting them setup vertical and level was just a pain. 6. Thanks. I like LOKs as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That is a sweet lineup. If you don’t mind, who makes the green grips on the Lim Custom? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Congrats on the purchase! It’s a great gun. I have a CZC Shadow 2 and run an 11lb hammer spring. It has a nice crisp trigger, but still around 7.5lb DA and 3.5lb SA. I also have plain Jane S2 with Cajun springs (11lb hammer as well), but stock hammer and mild polishing. The trigger is not as crisp, especially the reset, but the weight is much lighter. 6lb DA and 2ish SA. All that being said, I actually prefer the plain Jane gun with stock hammer and lighter but less crisp trigger. Is it all in my head? Probably, split times and accuracy are similar after the first DA shot. I second the idea to start with a Cajun spring kit if you want to tinker and go from there. They are solid firearms and I have not heard of very many if any warranty claims being submitted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I wound up deciding on a set of Henning smooth grips with skate tape. I a have the LOK palm swells on my Shadow 2, but after getting used to the thinner grips on the Tanfo I’ve swapped those out as well. Not to mention pretty much swapping my Shadow 2 out with my Stock 2 at this point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks for all of the replies everyone. I picked up a smooth set of Henning grips and going to grip tape them. Also going to epoxy the wood grips and then compare. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the reply. I might sand down the wood and epoxy/SiC them.
  12. I did a bit of searching and could only find the polymer Patriot Defense palm swell grips. Does anyone know of another manufacturer that makes a similar grip for a Stock 2? I would like a palm swell grip, but a medium or thick grip would work as well. Does anyone have any comparison as to the thickness of the LOK G10 grips vs. the stock wood grips? New to Tanfoglios, so bear with me and thanks for the help.
  13. Thanks for the reply Jammer. I am not on very often. There were around 40 shooters. And I'm sure a lot of the new ones will be back (I know I will).
  14. Hello all, I competed in my first USPSA match in my hometown of Carlsbad, New Mexico last weekend. It was also the first USPSA match for the Cavern City Action Shooters club. I figured what better time to finally shoot a match. I am looking forward to what I can learn from everyone on this forum, so thanks in advance! -Tommy
