  1. I worked with Tom at WI Sectionals andd area 5 matches,,,great guy and very patient when working with wide variety of shooters.  Go with God my friend!

  2.

right now Frontier arms has 9mm lowers on sale for 80 bucks, Gorilla machine has sllick side lowers for 45 bucks, and Delta team tactical bcg for 70 bucks. The rest you can get from unbranded ar which is general ar parts and a heavy buffer and fre float tube from Tacfun ar and barrel from Bkf for 70 bucks.  Build one for around 450 dollars.

  3. I would go with an Aero lower, sale priced $105, Unbrabde at lower parts kit, $35, Gorilla Machine 9mm upper, &55, Gorilla Machine barrel, $75, Delta Team Tactical Lokota arm butt stock assemble, $35 anc Tacfun free float hand guard $45.  Then google 9mm bcg should be around 74 to 90 dollars.....total around 400.00 !  Have built two of these and have had very good luck and they have been very reliable.

  4. Usually we see the amount of accidental discharges in the winter months when outer coats afe added....unforutunatly quals are usually in the summer and indoor ranges and training does not take into consideration the drawing and holstering with winter coats....was very prevalent when we transitioned to glock 22 for our county .

  5. Just recently had a local Officer with a Sig 320, discharge the firearm while exiting his squad car.  Then the local news went into a diatribe about 33 cases of accidental discharge with Sig 320 hand guns nation wide and the on going law suit going on with these cases all law enforcement officers.  They all are saying that the fire arms discharged themselves.  I have seen quite a few of these 320's in production and optics  with tens of thousands of round down range and never had one go off by itself.  Just checking - with the average Office shooting lest than say 400 round a year and USPSA competitor logging thousands of rounds a year and they still do not self discharge!  Just checking if anyone has any feed back on this.

  6. Purchase a Sheel roller buffer and shot our end of season Hozer Match, 250 round minimum....upon returning home and inspecting the buffer I noticed the the buffer had rotated out of the side hole machined in the buffer tube....do not inow how many rounds this was the condition  but the Taccom upper with the Scheels buffer still was 100 per cent....too bad the end of the season but will have to watch for the rotation during winter practice other wise the rifle ran the same for the hole match and mine was the only one that did...thanks Tim!

  7. I have 3 aero lowers and an 80% lower with the taccom upper that I run in USPSA all the time with over 3-4000 rounds thru and one failure to feed in all that time....I shoot the other aero lowers on occassion and have had very good results with them....just gave one to my youngest grandson and he has had no problems with the aero lower.   Send Tim the bcg and he will cut it for the taccom barrel....great guy to deal with and excellant products.

  8. Go to the Aero Precision website and check on their lowers, complete or bare and the order Taccom's upper or just their barrel and BCG...you can do a build for $4-6 hundred dollars and then etc 40 round mags and you are in business.  Then get a 5-7 ounce buffer weight and 5 to 7 quarters to short stroke the system....fun project

  9. If you are familiar with ar builds I would recommend Aero 9mm lower(complete or build you own) and a Taccom upper with bolt carrier,  That is my build and has run 99.999 per cent....I have one fail to chamber then I cleaned it after 3000 rounds.  Used glock mags,,,,I like ETS mags but main mag is taccom extension on 33 round glock mag.
