  1. Like I said the magazines are tight tolerances and sand can lock them up....so I have been taking them apart if dropped in sand and cleaning them....so far they have run 100 per cent so I cannot complain. When compared to other box fed shotguns mine has run 100 percent reliable.
  2. I got four ten round magazines with the shotgun....Cody told me they are producing them in house so they should be available.
  3. For those of you on a budget like us retired elderly....I have used Tennessee Arms glock lowers for 3 or 4 PCC builds with Bear Creek barrels and standard ar uppers ... have had very good luck with these combinations. My current build is a 6.5 inch barrel with an aluminum tube pinned to the end of the barrel to get 16.5 inch rifle barrel with cery coat black on everything....make a light weight rear word heavy in the stock....so far a good shooter.
  4. Finished the 2nd 3-gun shoot at the Lodi Gun Club(Winnequa)....ran 3 boxes of lower recoil 7.5 thru the Genesis shotguns with out any problem...the 10 round magazine- got four- worked great. They are tight tolerances and dropped two in the sand and had to clean them- the folllowers stuck in the body with the sand inside. Worked great after that and on a plus got the spinner in four shots.
  5. Finally....finally got out to shoot a 3-gun match. Got the ten round mags last Wed. test fired them and number them. Put 140 rounds through the Gen 12 of wally world 12 ga and not a single malfunction....kind of cool to shoot...put it by the other shotguns for pre-loading before one stage and one of the competitors said that an AR did not belong on the pre-load station ti I showed him the twelve gauge mags. Now for 15 or 20 round mags to go with it....maybe some 5 round extensions?
  6. Cody told me they have the molds in house and are making them. I hope they will be available soon for the china flu season is over and 3-gun begins.
  7. I just got back from the range with the Genesis Arms shotgun...the 10.5 version. I have previous experience with many Saigas including 12 and 20 gauge. I got one of the 1st MKA 1919 in the country and put the aluminum lower on that and put in theTooth and Nail trigger st....also got a Panzer arms. The Genesis arms runs right out of the box. The rest were not that reliable....the MKA probably the best but longevity was a problem...after 2 or 3000 round later started having feeding problems. I have over 250 rounds thru the Genesis arms. Tried the lowest velocity Win. shells, 985 fps and of course had to shoot those one at a time just for the hulls. One ounce and 1 1/4 oz above 1075 just run and run. Put on a V-6 brake. Look cool and did not move the pattern with the brake so I think I will keep that on the shotgun. Right now just waiting for the covid to leave so we can start the 3-gun season. I would recommend the upper based on the reliability and function.
  8. Chris am I the lucky new owner....you can contact me at dwzuspsa@aol.com for details?

  9. I got the AR 10 buffer and spring, put that in the 10.5 inch Genesis Arms "other" amd took it out to the range today with 50 rounds of mixed shotshells from 1.0 ounce at 1150fps and 3 dram at 1200 fps...every thing ran thru the shotgun with out any problems. Recoil was stiff but not to bad and I could get thru the 5 round magazines as fast as I could pull the trigger...all in all I was very pleased with the first outing, Genesis Arms seems like a good company to deal with....now just waiting for the ten round magazines. So far so good. Will work up an 1 1/8 load for the shotgun over the up coming week.
  10. The first came thru without the internal choke so I ordered a 10.5 inch ....that was what I wanted in the first place. I am waiting for the right buffer weight and spring which should be here tommorrow or the next day. Then I will test fire at the range. Cody at Genesis arms told me they at molding the ten round mags in house and are working on them as I type this. Will let you know here how it works.
  11. Today I received a 10.5 in barrelled Genesis Arms upper. Looking it over appears to be of high quality also got it with rem chokes installed. Will take it out tommorrow Sat. to test fire and pattern. Mounted C-more with 6 moa dot will have more info tommorrow.
  12. I am looking to buy an STI type grip for a 9mm build on a CK lower-trying to sta under $90.00-please let me know what you might have...thanks.

  13. Yes it is....emailed USPSA NROI and the MCK is not legal for PCC competition....just wanted official verification for something we already knew. Too bad they are really fun to shoot and would be a good starter for young shooters.
  14. I have the MCK micro conversion kit by CAA USA....wish I could put up pictures but I don't have that capability. Lenny Mcgill is were I first saw it. They are a hought to shoot though.
  15. Well I went ahead contacted Genesis Arms and ordered the 18 inch upper 12 ga. Have a 308 lower and all the parts coming. Will let you know after the build is done how it works out.
  16. I was surfing youtube and came across the micro roni-anyone have any experience with this item? Thought it might be applicable for PCC,
  17. At the 2019 Shot show they talked about 10 rounders and possibly a 3 or 5 round extension,,,,coming more towards the end of the year.
  18. Are there any forum members who own or know of anyone who has one of there. They go on the DPMS lowers in 308 and are recoil operated like the Browning A-5 but just the uppers are $1400. I would like some feed back before I lay out that much money 4 months before my retirement. Thanks in advance-dwzuspsa.
  19. I have been looking at Genesis Arms. They have an upper built on a DPMS lower and sell the upper seperatley....wait for it: $1400.00. If it were in the 8-900 area I would buy one....not gas operated kind of a take off of the Browning A500 recoil system but what they call a short recoil. Fully complete shotguns are 1900.00 dollars.
  20. Thanks for the info....just purchased the 19 rounder from Advanced Tactical....thanks again.
  21. Anyone know who has the 19 round mags in stokc?
  22. Check the height of your red dot....seems like you are taking a lot of recoil especially when you shot at a higher target....when we fit a shotgun to a new customer ...making sure it is unloaded and bolt locked to the rear... look down the sights from the muzzle end of the barrel and determine where they line up to your eye....you can tell a lot about the fit and highth of the comb that way.
  23. I bought the first 3-hole turret press when it came out-traded a 22 rifle for it even up sometime in the early eighties. I started shooting USPSA around 1987 and have loaded hundreds of thousands of round on Lee turret presses 3 and four hole. Loading on the turret press, especially for new reloaders, you only do one thing at a time and you can watch each stage as it indexes to the next stage. The new reloader can watch all the stages of reloading from sizing, belling the case to dropping the powder charge, to bullet seating to crimping....Dillion make fine quality equipment but Lee makes reloading a little safer because you are not doing all the functions at one time.
  24. Jeff get on the computer go to WI shooters ,com....Ronnie and Lori Casperrun the website and list all the WI clubs shooting 3-gun, USPSA and IDPA...show up for a match with your gun and 3-6 mags, a holster that covers the trigger guard and heavy belt...for USPSA bring at least 200 round and IDPA you can get by with 100 rounds. Three gun is more fun than a person should be allowed to have.
