  1. I like their universal decapping die. I have there sizing die in 9, 40 and 45 but in 9 the die doesn't size down enough to have enough tension on some brass. When case wall was less than 0.01" thick the bullet would fall all the way down in the case. When talking with Wayne he said that the external dimensions of the brass were correct after sizing and that it was working as expected. My RCBS die would work with brass that had the thinner walls without issue so I quit using the MA dies.
  2. Fantastic, I believe I found it. Would this be the “U” I was looking for?
  3. I recently acquired some reloading equipment from a buddy of mine and found a lee die box that had u sized documentation in it. I was wondering if there is any way to identify which die is the u die vs the standard die? There are 3 different lee 9mm sizing dies in the box of equipment.
  4. I have both the Alpha-X and the Flex. I would highly recommend the flex holster over the Alpha-X. It offers the fit to be customized to your exact pistol and can be modified to to fit a different pistol down the road if you ever decide to change. They offer 2 different insert blocks depending on the pistol so you would need to determine which one matches yours but you could also do like I did and just pickup both so that it will cover almost any pistol you could ever want to use.
  5. Guys, I recently acquired a Dillon 550 and have a part that I'm not familiar with and can't find any reference to what it is and what it is used for. Can anyone help me identify what it is and how it is used? It looks like a powder expander but it has no hole in the middle to allow powder to funnel. Thanks Robbie
  6. That was what I was thinking so I will source a spare or two and start experimenting. Thanks!
  7. I might give him a call and see what he is using or sees for mounts on a para.
  8. This is great help. I think that I will continue to use the serendipity and look for a dual sided mount as I think a single side will put too much strain on the dust cover.
  9. Was that running a single side mount or a dual side mount?
  10. That was kind of my thought is that a single side mount on the thin dust cover would not last long. I think I will look for a dual side mount for a frame with a 0.750 width.
  11. Yes, that is something that could be done but I think sticking with a frame mounted option has its advantages over a slide mounted one.
  12. Can you tell me what weight and where I might be able to find one?
  13. I recently picked up 3 para open guns with cmore serendipity optics on them and was wondering if there were other options since the frame material is thin compared to a 2011 platform.
  14. That was my assumption as well. I'm loading 125gr coated loaded with 5.1gr of CFE Pistol with a OAL of 1.08. I just completely disassembled it and cleaned everything and it FTE on the 5th round. I didn't know if I should try a lighter/heavier bullet or a powder on the faster/slower side. I had no issues with the load working in my AR9 but I was thinking the load needed tweaked a little.
  15. Hi all, I just purchased a used x95 in 9mm and about 1 in every 20 rounds I get a casing that fails to eject out of the port. Sometimes they don't fully get out of the chamber and others they just end up laying in the port causing a jam. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks Robbie
