Nickname "MadDawg" started from HS football. Once took out 3 defenders after a scrambbling q'back with 1 block. Knocked the 1st back into the 2nd down and the 3rd tripped and fell over the bunch of us. TD, but nearly broke my neck. The coach went nuts.

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Postmark means nothing. Mine was postmarked on Sunday. I did not make the waiting list.
  2. I was sent this update last night. It may take a little time for the dust to settle. But the TN is still on..... Hello, all, I am proud to announce the TN Sectional will be held at MSSA- Memphis, TN, September 25-27. Also, I am contacting those currently signed up to RO and help to see if they are still available with the location change. I'll send other details over the next couple of weeks (hotel, etc.). Please forward to your email lists. DVC, Elizabeth Keen
  3. I dragged the mouse across several squads to copy and paste into a Word document. The squad numbers appeared when pasted into the doc. If that does not work for you, the squads are numberd 301 to 342. Count from either end that is closest. I know this will change. My class is out of date. for what it is worth.... Division GM M A B C D U Total Limited 2 9 13 24 27 10 14 99 Open 6 15 10 18 16 1 7 73 Production 7 10 15 23 29 3 9 96 Revolver 2 2 1 3 1 9 Single Stack 4 2 8 5 5 24 L-10 1 1 2 2 1 7 Total 15 41 42 75 82 17 36 308
  4. Question on Stage 1 Dark House 1. Will the "flashlight" on wrist be considered range equipment, which is provided to the shooter at the stage and must be used? 2. Or are we to bring the flashlight? This could be a dumb question, so please excuse the source. I have only shot around four dark house stages in the last six years that required a flashlight. I have three in one of the range bags. Just have to figure out which one of the bags. dang
  5. I have shot as many as 16 santioned IDPA matches in a year. The majority do not fillup in a few days. This year 7 IDPA and 8 USPSA. Just got in the Gator Classic. It is one of the toughest USPSA to get in an app in. Could have signed up for more IDPA matches, but the 5 closest santioned to me decided not to have one this year. Our Tri-Sate(Memphis area), MS State and the three matches in Manchester, TN.
  6. I was checking to see if my 4th classifer shot Feb 9th had run at HQ yet. 13-02 Down the Middle was first turned down for several weeks then reinstated and got credit this Thursday morning two days before the match on Saturday. The 85% gave me a B class . Would I rather be 1 of 10 U/Prod? Naaah... Keep them in the middle guys, Ernie
  7. We ordered up some special weather for you guys north of the mason/dixon line. Last year, I was first up on our squad's 1st stage. My hands were numb from the cold . When the start signal sounded, talking about trigger freeze ..... Fri Mar 14 HIGH 63° LOW 41° Mostly Sunny Chance of rain: 0% Sat Mar 15 HIGH 63° LOW 45° Mostly Cloudy Chance of rain: 0%
  8. Oh yeah. Being a certified SO & RO helps.
  9. Been shooting both for 2 years now. Just ...focus on what you need to do before the stage, be ready to shoot before the buzzer and execute. No worries..
  10. Thanks Zack and the PM from Chills. I may just suck it up for now. Just know better as a shooter to check the forum for the lastest than trusting Section Coordinators and Club presidents. Hers's a unique idea.....why not let the rest of the organization have the same information. I now have a list of the removed classifiers in my range bag. I will definitely correct the MDs from now on. I will try to put Troy on the spot at the March 1st RO class in Little Rock. but I doubt if you can put that guy on the spot at anything. With some luck, I should be good for the rest of the year BIBG, MS Classic, AR Sec., Area 5 Area 4 ..TN, Gator .see you down the road Ernie I
  11. -Rec'd two CZ SP-01s from Matt Mink in November -needed two more classifiers for Production -The closest uspsa range (45 minutes) closed until April 2014 for Berm work. -drove to next closest (3 hrs round trip) to get no. 3 and 4 this past 6 weeks. -Shot #4 this pass Sunday Feb 9th with a HF of 8.5. Judging by the 2012 Nats looks like a 81-87%, No worries should give me a B same as LTD. -found out today the MD is having trouble turning in scores for 13-02. -So I will be shooting the AL in Phenix City next month as a what ? This is a major CF in any sport. When the hell did we get notification of these classifiers being removed? When did anyone pass it on to us? The website still shows 13-02 as being active. A liitle bent right now, Ernie Heath PS: WTF did they think the reason for changing to 8 shot was in the 1st place. Now are matches going to be 6 shot neutral instead of 8. The DISPARITY will be there as well.
  12. I booked the Howard Johnson in Nicholasville (2149 Lexington Road) again this year. $54.50 was my rate. Just 22 minutes to the range (not including the 30 minute drive once you are through the gate.) I do not remember this HJ impressing me much. Definitely would have made notes on last year's schedule if there were problems. Ernie
  13. Mama told me that we can go last night. I signed up today and waiting on the squadding password. Its in the North area of my domain. I see good shooters that I know in the match. So here's to you guys, bring it on. ps: Dang......... Just got the PIN after I hit save. See you guys on the range. Hannibal Hotels look to be within 33 minutes of the range instead of 55 minutes. So I will look there.
