  1. The cutoff date for our next shipment will be this Friday February 10th at 5:30 CST. Any orders placed before this time, will arrive the following week Remember to use the discount code for Brian Enos members!
  2. Sorry but we have sold out of the refurbished units. Be sure to keep an eye on our dealer forum as we will add them here when we have more.
  3. We now offer the scalloped mount in bare aluminum https://fasttoys.net/shop/Canik-TP9SFX-and-Rival-Sfx-Optic-Mount-Alpha-3-Romeo-Max/
  4. Call me a little biased but the FTP Optics Alpha 3 is a fantastic, competition orientated red dot that is a great value and extremely solid performer. We run about 70 % customer loyalty meaning that someone who buys one, usually buys another
  5. Did you actually weigh each charge in each case or just set the press? There variance on a lot of presses can easly be +- 2 tenths of a grain. Also, different brass as mentioned can slightly affect power factor. I have no loaded HS6 but I have found that some other powders will really just max out in the case (3N38 for example). As the case gets full, at some point, the additional powder added makes very little difference in PF.
  6. SPP, SRP all work fine. The only one I would recommend to stay away from are Federal SPP. They are really soft and primer flow too easily. Never had a problem with any other brand.
  7. LOL...no these optics are designed for personal defense, they are for competition use with brightness levels maximized for use in those conditions. Think the sun coming up over the berm in Florida! I don't have the exact # for the hard off handy but it's quite a while of no activity (definitely not a few mins) and likely closer to a few hours of no movement. Battery Life: 320 hours at brightness position 3 at 10 degrees C / 50 F .
  8. Good question! There are two ways the optic can turn off: 1. Hard off. This is accomplished holding down either button for 3 seconds or when the optic sits motionless for a long time (for battery preservation). When this happens, you will need to press either button to turn it on. It will not turn back on if it experiences motion. 2. Soft off. This happens when the optic sits motionless for a few minutes. When this happens, the optic will turn back on as soon as it senses motion. Motion is "any signifcant motion" so just you walking around with the gun in the holster would prevent it from turning off. If you sat the gun down on a table or inside a stationary case, it would shut off after a few minutes. I hope that helps explain how it works
  9. Absolutely! Just needs to come in with our next production run and we require a 50.00 deposit. Email us if you wish to place an order.
  10. It's a matter of personal preference. For pistol range targets, the 6 and 8 MOA are the most popular and you can hit anything you need to at up to 50 yards with ease. I've actually practiced and can hit 60 yard 8 inch steel with no problem with an 8 MOA dot. If you are talking rifle or even longer distances, then that's a different story. We actually have some very high level shooters that special order 10 MOA dots from us for USPSA and love them. I prefer an 8 MOA for IPSC and USPSA as you get a nice round dot and don't need to turn them up until they flare like many of the smaller dot sizes in bright sunlight. I've actually seen popular brands that flare so bad in unusual ways that the dot looks like a snowman lying on it's side. I'm not sure how people aim at all when the dot is an irregular shape! There are tons of 2.5-5 MOA dots on the market so our goal was not to compete with them but rather offer something that most of our competitors do not.
  11. We can do that by special order but you are the first person to ask for a smaller dot size. Most people like our dots because they are offered in larger sizes that the competition that are more focused on dots of rifles and service pistols.
  12. FTP optics are optimized to achieve the brightest, most crips dots that competitors need for the brightest range conditions. We also use a very expensive premium lens that provides fantastic optic qualities with the best anti reflective properties. One fantastic feature of our optics is the on/off programming and soft touch buttons. No longer do you have to press buttons very hard to turn on and off like many competitors on the market. You also have up and down brightness buttons instead of one button that you have to cycle through and then find yourself resetting the dot to the lowest level when you click one past what you thought was the brightest setting (totally frustating). Have you ever forgotten to turn your dot on at the start of the stage and felt the panic of trying to find the right button to the turn the optic on and when it did come on it was too dim? The Alpha 3 will turn on to the last brightness level used with a quick press of either button the side of the optic! You don't have to hold a button down for 2-3 painful seconds like you do on other optics on the market! Check out our web site for full details: https://fasttoys.net/shop/FTP-Optics-Alpha-3-Red-Dot-Reflex-Sight-V2/ Brian Enos members can get 15.00 off their order and free shipping with coupon code = BEDEAL23
  13. FTP is always working to improve quality, reliability and performance of our red dot optical sight. We are pleased to annouce Version 2 (V2) which incorporates updates to the battery tray compartment to improve durability and reliability. We have been shipping these for a few months but had not yet made a formal announcement FTP optics are optimized to achieve the brightest, most crips dots that competitors need for the brightest range conditions.
