I have the 2.5 dp pro and its bright. I was worried about the dot size at first but it's so bright I have no trouble with it at all. I turn it on at the safe table before the match starts and leave it on the whole time. Not sure if it cuts off after a few minutes if non use. When I make ready it's on and bright.

I was very serious about getting an atlas open gun until I read and heard a bunch of negative stuff recently. I called them and spoke to them a couple times but I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger. Im just gonna be patient(something I have a hard time with) and wait on a deal. I do remember atlas at one time saying they were gonna keep their prices reasonable but when I called he said their prices would be going up very soon to sv price points and their guns are the same caliber build as SV.

Sounds like something is binding a little, obviously, if you take the hammer spring out see if the hammer is rubbing somewhere like on each side of the frame. Seems like if the trs was broken it wouldn't snap back. I'm not very familiar with eaa guns but I'd check the lifter spring if it's got one and maybe under the disco and see if there's a burr.

There's really no one local to me unfortunately or I'd jump all over that. Im leaning towards atlas but Ive never shot one. I friend just got a chaos today so hopefully I'll put some rounds through it soon.

I talked to Glenn at lsi today. He said 4-6 months build time. I don't want to wait 6 months or I'd definitely buy from him.

Who would you choose to build you a new gun ?

From what I see at matches the 9 major guns have way more problems than the super Comp guns. I think once you tune the 9 it's probably good for a while but I'd rather pick up brass than screw around with a gun and never really know if it's gonna work every time I pull the trigger. Both calibers have pros and cons. If you want to shoot open I wouldn't let the cost of brass sway your decision. If you shoot 9 you don't have to pick up brass but it takes more to get the gun and mags working. For me I chose the super Comp because the only down side was brass prices.

What are he feed lip dimensions ? I've got a couple mbx that I've never used so I'm not that familiar with them.

Does 105 fill the case up like 3n38 ? When I load 3n38 theirs not much room left in the case. For example when my 650 indexes a few sprinkles come out of the case if I don't slow down a little. I noticed with hs6 this didn't happen as much but I was at a starting point of 8.6 I believe.

What's a good starting point for n105 ? Is 105 a rifle powder.

I've read a few different stories about WAC and cracked slides. Not sure if there is a correlation but it has me concerned, lol.

Have you seen any ill effects while using auto comp. some of the post I've read have me a little scared.

I'm fairly new to open and am curious as to which powder you prefer. I've loaded 3n38 and hs-6 and couldn't really tell much of a difference in the 2. I thinking about switching to hs-6 because of the cost vs 3n38. I'm shooting 124 pd jhp too for what it's worth.

Trauma kit is a must.

I tried out limited with a cz tac sport and it lasted about a month. If I were you I would go with a 2011. There's way more parts available and help if needed.

I had a Springfield I wanted something similar done to it and all the custom builders didn't seem to want to do it. I think their wasn't enough money in it for them to tackle my project an/or no time. I ended up sending it back to Springfield and it took about 10 days and was inexpensive. I'd check around though or maybe consider having kimber do it.
