  1. I bought a new shadow around the 1st of March and mine is doing the same thing, but I dry fire for 15-30 minutes 5 times a month. Kinda sux when you pay so much for it. I ran a xdm 5.25 all last year and it has no holster wear.
  2. I've ran out of n320 and I have low quantities titegroup so now I'm moving on to trueblue. Do any of y'all use or have used trueblue for 9mm minor. I will be loading for a shadow. All advice will be appreciated.
  3. I shot a shadow last weekend at a match and needless to say I have to have one. I've been shooting an xdm 5.25 and like it but the cz seems better. I've been looking online and can't find one. Hope to get one soon and will keep xdm as a backup I guess. If anyone knows where one might be please let me know.
  4. Just checked the status of this and I'm at 57.62 percent. That's 3 place right now. Moving on up. Been shooting SS lately so production might be on hold a bit for now.

  6. Thanks to all for the info!!! I definitely need all the advice I can get.
  7. Are base pads just a preference of the shooter? Besides the gap & no gap
  8. Guildsf4, are you using 8rd mags?
  9. I'm gonna start shooting single stack soon and need some advice. I will be using a range officer in 45 acp and have installed a Dawson .90 fofs, vz operator grips, Dawson gap mag well and grip tape to the front strap. What I need to know is what are the best mags and mag pouches. Also, do I need an ambi safety? I would think so when shooting weak hand only in matches, but hey I'm new to shooting competitions and what do I know? Thanks in advance for any info.
  10. I reload my ammo. Been shooting production, but wanna get a classification in SS. What is the rule on extended mag release length.
  11. Have a springfield RO. Installed a dawson ice magwell and fiber optic fs, Vz grips and polished up the trigger to about 4 lbs. should I get the trigger a little lighter? What else needs to be done? Also, what mags and base pads should I get. I have a few mcCormicks that seem to work so far and a couple other brands that work.
  12. Loose primer pockets and I've had it happen with crimped primer pockets when I didn't get the crimp out good enough.
  13. I had same problems with a 5r barrel. Tightened the die down a little bit 1/4 turn more and now no problems.
  14. Dillon is great, but for the money the lee kits are a good place to start. Either way you go a progressive is the best option if you plan on burning 200 or more rds per week. If I were just starting i would get the Lee loadmaster kit for your caliber.
  15. I've been loading n320 for 9minor and having good results out of an xdm 5.25, but a few people told me n330 is better for 9 minor. I've got a few lbs of each. What's your thoughts? Also shooting extreme 147 plated RN too
  16. I am seating and crimping at different stations and I'm spray lubing just b4 loading. OAL is pretty good as long as there is a case in every spot. Powder drop was dead on, but now its varying a little heavy. This progressive stuff is nerve racking. My rocker and beam scale never failed. LoL
  17. I love this loadmaster. Best 220$ I've spent in a while. Buddies have 650, 550, and lnl and my press works just as good. I don't see the benefit of spending 500-700 more on a dillon.
  18. I was having issues with primers being slightly high, but adjusted the primer depth bolt to correct that and it was when I first set it up to load. I'll be sure to make complete strokes and see If that helps. Thank you for your advice. Hope others will chime in too.
  19. A buddy that I shoot with won a loadmaster .40s&w kit. Well, he's got an SDB and sold me the lee for a good price. Trouble is I shoot 9mm and no .40. I have it set up and really like it. It seems to work fine for what I need. I used the rcbs dies I had and picked up a flow thru expander. I'm having a problem with OAL. It varies a lot. I set it for 1.142 according to V V website for the load I'm using. It seats the projectile from 1.139 -1.160. My seater die also crimps at the same time. I tried to back it out so it would only crimp a small amount. The projectiles I'm using are extreme 124 RN plated. I think it might be a combination of plated bullets and seater/crimp die. Should I get a lee seater die and also the factory crimp die. Thanks in advace for the help
  20. That's a good reason to keep the powder, if my wife would go along with, I'd have kegs
  21. Springfield sights are really hard to get out. Seen a few jigs break trying to get em out. Let a PRO do it.
  22. I'm gonna try to take it back and get w231. Thanks for all the input
  23. I have 124s, 135s, and 147 all plated
